My husband had a lovely sandwich which was very filling and I had the fish cakes. They were both delicious and the service was excellent.

Handy little pub with outside seating serving standard pub grub nothing special but handy for a quick snack and a beer in a central location at lunchtime

We stopped at the pub for an afternoon drink and enjoyed the warm weather while watching people wander past. The prices were average and the pub was a good place to get a drink without over inflated prices.

It's so refreshing to find a pub which is a 'proper pub' in other words a local where you can go in and have a drink without feeling you have to order food. Although we did order food one day on our holiday and sat...More

Typical British boozer. Nice traditional touches. Had a decent enough sandwich (Tuna and onion seeing as you asked). Lovely views onto Royal Square.

Called in for a drink on St Patrick's day, appeared to be a focal point for many Irish to gather, it's quite a small pub, so felt very busy, standing room only, although there was lots of seating available outside which trebles their capacity, lovely...More

small pub in town centre felt like walking into a local but a friendly local if you want a beer away from the Whoray Henries who are sadly taking over this town ideal

Hello, I came this week end in Jersey and I did enjoy the atmosphere in your pub. It was fully booked. Quel dommage! My husband and few friends will come next week end in Jersey. Is it possible to book a table for lunch by (13.30) for 8 people? I thank you for your answer. I do hope to come again myself. Best redards Sabrina Busnel
