I have been to the Beach Cafe at Fermain many times before and always given 5 stars. This was my first visit this year and there has been a change for the worse. The sandwiches were no longer a fantastic experience, spilling off the plate...More

Fermain Bay is, in my view, the prettiest bay on Guernsey. Apart from the natural beauty of the setting and the very pleasant swimming, the whole experience is complemented by the café above the bay with its picnic tables looking out to sea but sheltered...More

Went with friends to the Fermain Bay Beach Cafe. Have been numerous times before. Sandwiches have always been excellent BUT this time the sandwiches came prepackaged and not freshly made. What a disappointment. They have let themselves down. Food has always been excellent but this...More

Fermain Bay has a lovely little beach and the cafe is first class with plenty of tables outside on the beachfront. It offers a good range of food and drink and provides excellent service.

The Beach Cafe at Fermain Bay offers much more than ice cream and chips. The food is excellent and comes in substantial portions and the cafe deserves its great reputation. Expect to pay restaurant prices but make a visit here your main meal of the...More

The 3 star review is simply for the rudeness of staff- as the food is brilliant so if you don't mind rubbish service then pay a visit! The girls serving were just plain rude! We're simply asked 'what do you want' and then when we...More

Walked to the Beach Cafe from St Peters Port - wonderful. Great place to finish with a chilled glass of white wine, crab sandwich and a view to die for. Service first class, friendly and efficient. Worth the walk!

Ate here a couple of times whilst staying at nearby apartments (Del Mar Court). The café is beautifully situated on the bay down a very steep hill - not really suitable for very young children or those with mobility problems! Don't try to drive to...More

The location of this restaurant down a very long steep hill makes it apparently difficult to get to, given that signs prohibit motor vehicles! We arrived downhill after walking a section of the coast path to the west and catching a bus to the top...More

The view from the cafe is unbeatable and creates a very unique ambience, the food was also great, and the live music in the background created a memorable experience. Will certainly recommend this cafe!

Most tourist attractions are open until the end of October, although some of the main ones are open all year. I suggest you contact the online Guernsey Tourist Board for opening hours. Even if the cafe is closed, Fermain Bay... More
