Unfortunately we finished our meal disappointed! The lime king prawn topping was delicious however the dough was under proofed and dense! The Summer veggie and pesto pizza, minus the pesto because they had no pesto was also a let down, same dough issues, could have...More

Our visit didn't start well as they'd run out of half the toppings, so our options were limited. They also messed up our drinks order. The pizzas themselves were good (the New Yorker was a surprise hit!) and the restaurant is nice. Out of the...More

Apologies for the shaky start - it was difficult to keep up with demand at one point. But good to hear it went well after that and the New Yorker was a hit. Hope to see you again. Thanks : )

We got a takeaway from the restaurant. We had the lovely veggie pizza which was very tasty. Good size and price. Fast abs friendly service too. Would recommend it.

We ate at Stoned in Braunton twice during our short visit to the area. It’s a modern looking little restaurant on the main street in the village. Inside everything is spotlessly clean. The staff, who are all very much younger than us, are welcoming and...More

Glad to hear you enjoyed the pizza, but really sorry about the wait. Was it at the restaurant? Eat in or take out? Or was it at the Croyde Pop-up? We're normally good at predicting times too with a couple of minutes given we've been...More

A great little restaurant. We ate as a family of three and enjoyed some lovely garlic bread and a pizza each. Having eaten before we knew that the pizzas would be great and they were! Plus some lovely desserts. Really quick and friendly service. Highly...More

What a great addition to Croyde! Delicious, fresh pizzas made from start to finish while you wait. Simple, no fuss al fresco dining. Great menu. Such a fantastic idea. Cash only though.

Wonderful last night for our family holiday. Delicious pizza, absolutely adored the King prawn & lime, 2nd best pizza* in the world in many years of eating & miles of traveling. The natural fruit cordials are fab, particularly the strawberry. The chocolate brownie though -...More

Description
We're a coffee shop by day and a pizza place by night with daytime pizza during the holidays too. Since we started in 2013, Stoned has spread the pizza love as one pop-up restaurant became two, then three and now we also have our very own shop / kitchen / restaurant / take-out place in Braunton. But even though we’ve grown, one thing has stayed the same ... our commitment to create delicious wood fired food by combining the best ingredients we can find with creativity and care. Our flour is organic stoneground flour from Dorset, plum tomatoes are from Italy, cave-aged Tuscan salami and free range chicken from Devon. Our team is hand-picked, home-schooled too, making sure you get the best experience ever. We take the same care our drinks ... our coffee is organic and fair-trade to make sure you get the best brew and at the same time helping others and the environment. The same applies to our range of leaf teas and hot chocolate, both carefully selected and prepared. And then there's our cakes! Melissa our baker makes an ever changing range of cakes - all very delicious. Artisan bread is available on a Saturday. And just to let you know, you can order online and then collect; you can book a table provided it it's 4 hours before you're due to arrive, or just pop down and we'll make your pizza or find you a table as soon as we can.
