Yes it's the only cafe on the Head but even still served a smashing latte. As with most places was dog friendly so be prepared to share indoor space with four legged friends. We are not dog lovers but none of them were a problem....More

I think a better estimate would be about 40-50 minutes, unless you are a very fast walker!

It's about a mile and a half from Brixham harbour and quite up hill. You can stop for a rest around half way at the Berry Head Hotel though and the final climb is under the shade of trees. Lovely walk...

The Guardhouse Café offers superb locally sourced food and drink in one of the South Coast's most stunning locations, Berry Head Nature Reserve with panoramic views over the South Devon Coastline. Only a short walk from the car park the Café is open daily from 9am to 5pm (4pm in winter) for coffee, tea, drinks, breakfast, snacks & lunch. Fully licensed, children friendly and dogs are welcome.
