An honest traditional local pub offering great value for good food - expect to wait this is not a fast food restaurant but for us the wait has always been worth it! Dogs welcome in downstairs bar area. Jim & Lin Southampton

We visited the Bishop Lacy for lunch today and had a spectacular meal. Well worth a visit. The decor is a bit tired, but the food was truly delicious.

Disabled access is a problem. Well behaved pets are common. Family groups are reasonably common. No free WiFi when I was there in October. Dunno about opening hours but 6pm at night and Sunday lunch is popular.
