called in early after a 5hr walk to see what time meals were being served ,dave behind the bar said "I've just put some braising steak in the oven will be ready for 6-30 " mmmm we will be back later .arrived back at 6-15...More

This is a nice pub slightly hidden away in Ivybridge. I did feel the locals staring oddly at me because I was wearing a shirt with a collar but no matter. The homemade beef pie was nice and service was good. Prices extremely reasonable. Nothing...More

Great old fashioned Pub good beer, food and people. Good fun quiz on a Monday and live music about once a month.Dave the guvnor is exactly that a proper old school landlord who knows his regulars and how to treat them.

A great pub with great staff, food and fantastic live music most Saturday's. The best pub I have ever been to. A must visit time-and-time again.

Brilliant pub, everyone welcome. Staff very friendly and Dave the landlord always available for a chat and a laugh. Various entertainment nights through the week, with the Thursday curry night being a personal favourite. Cheap food, normal bar price drinks in welcoming and friendly pub.
