A lovely pub in a lovely spot, but I was so disappointed with my sausage with bubble n squeak. It was pretty awful. I'd drink here again, but I'd never eat here again.

We had a superb lunch at the Castle Inn on Monday. The place and the food impressed on every level. It was a pleasant walk from our weekend base in Dawlish, and we were delighted to find a place with such character.

The Castle inn can be found in the centre of this very small village. Visited on a Saturday night and it was busy and welcoming. Small but comprehensive menu with daily specials. Reasonably priced. Small outside seating area.
