I've been here a number of times and the food is excellent. First, a word of warning about prices in Tiverton and the surrounding areas. Main courses are reasonably priced but starters are way too expensive. This is a general comment and this restaurant can't be faulted for pricing things the same way as everyone one. But starters should be... More

Red Thai curry, watery, tasteless, with no hint of Thai herbs and spices. Sticky rice, half filled container for £3.50. Overpriced and not to be repeated.

Just been past and the Buddha has gone to be replaced by something called Ma-Karm. There is another branch of this in London and the menu prices are cheaper. Mixed starter there is £10 here it is £13! Also steamed rice in London is £2.50 and here £3.00. Can't comment on the quality as I haven't tried it.

I went with my wife any two children,15,17. The main menu is ok and fairly priced but beware of the cost of drinks and starters which were the main part of the bill. The main meal was fine although the starter 'platter' potions are so small that they are basically balls of fat. Nice people who run the place.

We have had a good meal at the Golden Buddha restaurant and we can recommended everyone this restaurant if you are in Tiverton We have eaten many times in Chinese restaurants so we love the oriental food very much and here in Tiverton we have had an excellent Thai meal.

We've always eaten in Chinese restaurant, but thought we would try this place for a change, so glad we did. Had to ask about the menu as not familiar with the names/dishes. Great service and nice comfy setting, the food is amazing, such delicate flavours, and served on hot plate. Reasonable size portions. There is parking behind the restaurant and... More

We ordered take away tonight and it was that bad I felt the need to write a review. We decided to give this place another go a few months ago after not returning for a long time due to this place going downhill. We had one good takeaway and a good meal in the restaurant and thought great this place... More

Never had a bad take away or meal here before and have been many times before. Had takeaway tonight, special fried rice was greasy/slimy, Thai green chicken curry had about half a centimetre of grease the chicken was so rubbery it was inedible. When i went in last time I was told they were changing the menu and it was... More

I've been using this restaurant for 4 years on and off so I can comment on how standard has slipped. My Thai fish cake was so rubbery it bounced. So little flavour or texture it was definitely Netto crap. Main course Green Chicken Curry was below average. Cheap slimy chicken and probably Birds Eye frozen veg boiled together. Yuk. Change...
