Called in on a Monday afternoon and found a table right by the service counter. The sign says that they offer table service so we waited and waited and waited and waited. There were two staff serving but they were behind the counter sorting out...More

Excellent coffee in an authentic continental cafe. Excellent bread and cakes and pleasant staff. Wooden floors and benches and "communal tables " to have food and coffee.

Popped in on a wet day and received a friendly welcome and the lady behind the counter said she'd bring my coffee over. It was pretty full but I quite like sharing a communal table and there was a trestle type table available. The cakes...More

A lovely quirky vibe to this cafe cum bakery. We had good coffees and absolutely fab cake. And nice to have table service. Bread and French patisserie all looked so good it was difficult to chose.... ah well on our next visit!

A really interesting place for a light(ish) lunch. Casual but well organised with a changing menu and everything prepared freshly to order.

This is a sister to a similar cafe in Westbourne, Bournemouth. It's very informal and the furniture is pleasantly quirky. Lovely coffee and a simple menu with toasted sandwiches etc. Lots of nice cakes. But it's the takeaway bread that really wonderful - the baguettes...More

What a lovely little find this place is. I and a lady friend popped in for a light lunch and were not disappointed. We both decided on the quiche of the day with their own slaw. I was not only delicious, especially their slaw, with...More
