The food, service, cleanliness and atmosphere in the halfway house are exceptional. The staff cant do enough for you. The measures they have put in place are the best I've seen. Amazing menu at fantastic prices.

Visited the halfway for a slightly belated birthday celebration. Cosy table beside the fire was a great plus. There were 6 very clean plates which I think says it all. Food and service were excellent as usual. Really couldn't recommend the halfway highly enough... Fab

We attended the Halfway House on Saturday the 19th of September to celebrate my daughters First Holy Communion, with such times we were a little apprehensive about eating out during covid times but we had no need, the Halfway have everything under control, hand sanitisers...on tables, all cutlery and napkins are prepacked to avoid handling and the newly renovated bar was simply spotless. From the moment we arrived both the bar staff and the waiting staff were fantastic, Connor was so helpful, he recommended dishes and was very attentive to our requests, he had a lovely way with him. The food was excellent, Sean is a fantastic chef... Lobster, beef, turkey, lasagne, steak, haddock, scampi, burgers, salt and chilli chicken were a few of our orders and no one in our party had any complaints, everyone thought it was excellent!! I am so glad we brought our party to The Halfway as it never fails. Very reasonable prices for first class food. As the sign says on the door "Come as a guest, leave as a friend" we will definitely be back!!More

Whilst the food was excellent the service from the waiting staff could have been alot better. The head waitress (I think her name was Oonagh?) could do with learning some basic communication skills and a lesson on how to speak to patrons. It doesn't take...much to be courteous and respectful towards the people who ultimately pay the wages. Won't be back.More
