Went for Sunday lunch- set menu so limited choice but very good quality food. Had scallops, goat cheese starters then pork and sea bream mains - all excellent. Service friendly and efficient. Wine ok. Only criticisms is it's a very small place as the name suggests and tables very close together it's a bit cramped.

Very cool, posh little restaurant, located virtually under the iconic 4th rail bridge. A fairly limited menu but the food is excellent, if a little pricey, as we had steak which is subject to supplement. If you're feeling flush then pay a visit.

Fabulous dinner for 10 in the little room off to the side - food was amazing, service was excellent and fish lovers and meat eaters were all kept extremely happy. Not everyone in our party is into fine dining, but everyone was delighted - fresh local produce at its best. Will definitely be back.

I was in N Queensferry the year this place opened, we'd already eaten but we thought it looked great and said we'd be back. We never came back. That idea died, like the way my miserable partner slowly killed all the joy and fun in our relationship... Last week I finally had a meal in The Wee Restaurant, a one... More

This was a lovely little restaurant and a very enjoyable meal. However be aware that although the menu states 2 courses for £28.50 there are hefty supplements if you want a steak (between £6.50 and £8) so the actual cost of a starter and steak is at least £35. The pork dish was another £3 and the only 'supplement free'... More

With two courses costing £28.50 and three £36 you might think the range of offering would be extensive - well it is if you pay for all over the supplements - a steak adds between £6.50 and £8 & pork another £3. So in reality with many of the mains two courses rise to between £31.50 and £36.50...You cannot doubt... More

Tried this out for lunch today on the back of other positive reviews. We were really looking forward to it and it still managed to exceed expectations! Lovely cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. Struggled to choose as all menu options sounded appealing but in the end I went for the sea bass and everything on the plate was perfectly cooked... More

Hi I tried this place while working in the area and went mid week. I had the menu du jour and for £20 it was pure class and excellent value. I really can't recommend this place highly enough and I think it's one of the best restaurants I've visited in a while. The emphasis is clearly on quality not quantity... More

We regularly travel to Edinburgh to eat out, until tonight I assumed that you had to travel to the City to experience really good fine dining, in recent weeks we've eaten at Galvins, Nira (Blackwoods), Tom Kitchins and others and I have to say......the Wee Restaurant is up there with the best! Lovely wee place, exactly as it says on... More

We had stopped at North Queensferry on the way to Saint Andrews so I could take some photos of the magnificent Forth Rail Bridge. I wandered into town while Toni read a book waiting in the car. I wandered past the Wee Restaurant and glanced at its menu. It had multiple awards on the door and the menu sounded fantastic... More
