Visited this cafe today. Very nice welcome from waitress. We had a lovely breakfast. Poached eggs cooked perfectly and the nicest smoked bacon I have tasted in some time. Omelette too was nicely cooked and filling lovely. Definitely worth getting off the main road and enjoy some good food in Fochabers.

Went on Tuesday lunchtime, my mother in law is gluten free and often finding anywhere that offers more than one GF option is a challenge, The Quaich had a whole double sided menu for her to choose from. I had the soup and a sandwich deal £5.50- really good sized portion, the roasted pepper and tomato soup was delicious as... More

Excellent meal and venue for a private function for a 60th birthday. Food options and service were great. Staff were very accommodating and helpful. Would definitely recommend using the venue for this type of function.

Service was second to none. Food was delicious, especially the macaroni cheese which we all ate. We were able to enjoy our lunch and chatter without being rushed, whilst being provided with super food, friendly atmosphere and excellent service. We will be back here without doubt.

I like trying out new places and I went there with a friend of mine for an informal meeting. Neither of us was impressed. Freshly made shortbread was OK, but coffee was far too much watered down. When I asked for receipt I was handed a printout from that only contained numbers and digits - useless for business purposes.

Dear customer. Here in The Cafe we serve three different kind of black coffee- filter coffee (that is regular coffee), Americano (much stronger than filter one) and Expresso ( the strongest one). We presume that you did not specified what coffee you want to order and in this case you got the filter one. Also if you wanted your receipt... More

Popped in past for something to eat after visit to Aberdeen. I knew was under new ownership & keen to see if food & quality still as good. Certainly not disappointed seeing what others were having. Still a very popular place to eat & seeing & hearing others complementing what they had to eat. Am very rarely an all day... More

Fantastic night ! This had been highly recommended to me and didnt disappoint.. The food, service and entertainment was first class. Food of this standard has been highly lacking in the village for a long time, will be trying daytime dining too. Well done to the owner who is the chef and the magician.

Just when you think The Quaich has reached a plateau of food excellence, they go and get even better! A top award is well deserved as The Quaich is outstanding in every way. The extensive menu puts so called TOP hotels to shame. Everything on the, made from scratch, menu is magnificent, well presented, but their Macaroni & Cheese is... More
