Good food, reasonable prices, friendly service in comfortable and historic surroundings - and the best sticky toffee pudding in recent memory! The Old Kiln Cafe at Ardbeg serves about 200 people at lunchtime, so there is sometimes a short wait for a table, but it...More

You may have a wait around lunch time as it is one of only a handful of restaurants in the area. The food was good and we had a Whisky sampling at the table. Great place to grab food if you are heading to the...More

We were so impressed we ate here twice. The smoked haddock chowder and fish pie were fabulous. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would well recommend the whisky tasting. Well worth the money.

Visited twice for lunch. Very busy so had to wait a wee while, but the wait was worthwhile. Good tasty food and great service followed by a couple of complimentary drams. The waitresses were also well versed on the available whisky.

Ate there twice during our week on Islay, on both occasions the food was reasonably priced (especially the whisky!) and excellent. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful.

Popped in here before a Tour of the Distillery, the homemade cake was delicious and generous too. A must.
