Given this vans location you would really hope for some fresh fish & chips. My husband was going to order a pizza only to be told that it would be microwaved, so he opt'd instead for a chip butty. These were by far the worst chips we have ever had... to be honest I think you would be better with... More

Stopped off in Tobermory after a day on Iona and Mull with the family. Friendly and fast service great fish and chips for the adults. We had 7 kids with us and all got their food fresh, hot and tasty ranging from smoked sausages, pizza and cheeseburgers. All the kids are picky eaters but they polished the lot of. Great... More

Great setting, not great chips. Very disappointed in the quality, chips that you would expect in a pub, not from a fish and chip shop, and not good value either.

It was disappointing on first visit - the large cod was the size of stickleback! The chips were from frozen stock and we're barely satisfactory. The redeeming feature was the friendliness of the owner, and the smoked sausage which I wish they would bring down south!

Had 3 portions of delicious fish and chips from here and we sat in the car and ate them while the rain hammered on the roof! The fish is battered very nicely and was very fresh and cooked to order.

We were so looking forward to getting fish from the van - how disappointing! Portions were tiny - my cod was more like a big fish finger! Chips are obviously frozen. Really over priced. You'd be better to go to the bar at the Mish and get fish and chips there - you set a decent portion and they are... More

Tried the fish and chips. All good but I wouldn't go so far as to say award winning... Friendly lady serving... Just next to the click tower... Open most nights...

Visited here on a wild wet day after a long local walk. Amazing what the lady can produce from such a small van. The fish was beautiful, fresh, white and flakey with a light crisp batter. Would have given 4 stars if the chips had been fresh and not frozen. Hit the spot though and would use again.

Thank Josrobo
