Nice spot to get a bite to eat before hopping on the ferry. Friendly staff and good food at a reasonable price.

The staff were great and the coffee was the best I'd had in quite a while. Great atmosphere, and a lovely introduction to the Isle of Harris.

First fruits tearoom serves basic pub food and hot drinks. My friends and I enjoyed every moment of this pleasant lunch in this warm and very welcoming tearoom. The burger is very tasty. On top of that, everything is cheap and the waiters, waitresses and management are very kind and friendly. The best place for a first meal on the... More

Visited here for lunch. Lovely food, excellent service. Very attentive waiter who was able to assist with gluten free choices.

Had lunch here passing though Tarbert and also had breakfast waiting for the ferry. A very nice little café run by great people (Steve especially is a character). Great coffee, great food, nice to sit outside in good weather and people watch. Cannot recommend enough.

Took shelter in this coffee shop in wild weather on a visit to Tarbert. Both the coffee & the sandwich were really good & the staff were very friendly. The cakes looked very tempting but as I am diabetic the sandwich was a more sensible option. A nice weekend coffee shop & will call in again when in the area.

A very nice place where I spent at least an hour having a lunch. Food was really good, as was the service. There was wifi too. Toilets were cold, though, and was a bit cramped when I was hoping to enjoy my lunch as other customers kept on getting moved to my table.

We went to First Fruits Tearoom several times during our stay on the Isle of Harris during September 2016. Food was excellent, price was very reasonable and service was second to none. The lovely staff there were extremely polite, friendly and made us very welcome each time. Thanks guys!

Thank Steve M
