Have eaten here many times in the past and always enjoyed ourselves. Popped in as we were driving past to visit family with my wife and 4yo. We were seated and menus handed out. I enquired if there was any kids options which there wasn't which I don't have an issue with as I appreciate it's not really your target... More

We went for a family meal which was delicious - good atmosphere, good service and fine selection of fish on the menu.

This is usually a lunch time venue but we went for early dinner. We were the only customers which felt a little odd. Decided that we had exclusive use. The staff were wonderful as was the food. We had 3 servings of oysters between us absolute heaven. We had a let down with the taxi but the staff were amazing... More

This place is always crowded and for a reason. Great seefood, specially the many oyster variants. Good wine comes with it. Have a look at the shop and try not to buy something, it's nearly impossible. Just one remark: the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar works with time slots, which made me feel a bit rushed.

Don't be mislead by Tripadvisor reports on the Loch Fyne Bistro which which I heavily suspect many were meant for this establishment .... not helped by this being called the Cairndow Oyster Bar & Restaurant O.k. it's at Cairndow but it's what is know elsewhere as simple Loch Fyne. Our lunch was excellent with a good selection of oysters available... More

Weather in August left much to be desired but lunch at the Loch Fyne Oyster Bar was a perfect lift for an otherwise dismal day. Nice selection of oysters and smoked salmon, decent lobster and mussels washed down with a glass of crisp white. Service is friendly and a small hiccup in service was quickly rectified. Well worth the trip,... More

It was good to be back - if you like sea food This has to be included in all visits to the area. The restaurant is just amazing and the deli is great. A wide range of local produce at a reasonable price.

Hi having been taken here as a treat from my wife and travelled over one hundred miles to get there, I had the lobster with garlic butter but as I don't like garlic I asked the waitress what other sauces I could have with it and she didn't have any so I just had to have it with butter, considering... An unexpected return visit for an early evening meal - restaurant was quiet but enlivened by a false fire alarm. My scallops were disappointing as the accompanying oil hid their subtle taste, and the accompanying pepperoni was overcooked and tough. We will eat here again, in the hope that this was the exception and that it returns to its previous... More
