The restaurant is a really nice and cosy place far from everything, right next to the see on the east bank of Loch Fyne. The service was really nice, I was there visiting with some of the locals of Tighnabruaich, and they recommended that i have the Fish and chips and it was excellent, they had just like any other... We stopped here on our road trip of Scotland, and were not disappointed. The food was fabulous and the staff were so lovely. We will make a special trip back to the area to return. Thank you

Visited here with friends on a bright chilly day & received a warm welcome by the toasty fireside. The location here is exceptional & our lunches did not disappoint. Good selection at the bar & if ur dog wants a drink there's a bowl too (& a biscuit) For lunch 2 of us had burgers, one veggie & our other... More

We had such a warm welcome on our visit today. We had our 3 year old and baby with us and they were also made to feel so welcome. Great selection of beer/gin/other drinks. Menu selection was quite slim but it is November so we'd expect that. And I'd rather see that than think they were wasting ingredients. Fish and... More

Having been happy regulars at the Oystercatcher for several years, we waited with bated breath to see what changes new proprietors David and Chloe would bring. Well we certainly weren't disappointed! The new paint job and 'shabby chic' furnishings provide a perfect setting to enjoy some of the finest food to be found on Argyle's Secret Coast. The menu focuses... More

We ate here last Friday as a family of four. The staff and service were great, very friendly and accommodating. The menu had lots of great choices and the children's menu was also excellent. We ordered the soup, calamari, muscles and crab for our starters, they were all exceptionally tasty. We then ordered two items from the children's menu and... More

The second I saw this place I fell in love, its simple a white building surrounded by foliage and facing the loch. The bar is has a nice mix of traditional and modern décor, the fire, the welcoming couch and the stacked bookshelf enamoured me straight away. The range of drinks on offer is varied and the Thistle Cross Cider... More

Terrific food! Value for money, lovely friendly atmosphere. David and Chloe, the proprietors have a passion for food and hospitality which is evident from the minute you open the door. Drive or sail there you wont be disappointed ( unless its closed). While the menu is straightforward its not predictable pub grub, gastropub more like! ....but less pretentious which is... More

This is a lovely country pub, serving fantastic food, I had Cullen skink soup which was so tasty, partner had mackerel pate , we both had the open sandwich, I had chicken and mustard and partner had cheese and chutney, both were so tasty and generous serving. This is a lovely cosy pub with a real log fire burning away... More

Getting there is done by unclassified roads, but don't let they put you off. The drive getting there is stunning, and if your lucky enough to get some nice weather there is outside seating on the banks of Loch Fyne. Food was better than expected for a hotel that is in the middle of nowhere, the beer offerings were of... More
