The tea room located on the platform serves good snacks for rail passengers or others enticed by the roadside advertising, quick service. Ample free parking..

There is little time during the train stops to make use of this tearoom. It is most used by motorists. I had a tea and bun on a freezing cold morning while waiting for a train onward to Mallaig. One-man operated, it was warm, efficient and had a reasonable selection of snacks. A Scottish breakfast could be had. On the... More

I thought sliced white Mothers Pride-style bread had gone out of fashion. But no! At this cafe we were served our Brie and "ham" and mustard between slices of what resembled a turgid Monday afternoon in January in an out of town shopping centre. This experience was not cheap, but it was memorable. The tea was okay - but we... More

Hi there and thanks for you're valued feedback. We're sorry you don't like white bread however granary is available if you prefer. I'm not quite sure what you mean about "ham" or the comparison of a sandwich to a shopping centre but because you didn't make a complaint at the time I can only now apologise instead of attempting to... On our return from our walk along part of the West Highland Way, and having been soaked to the skin as a result of the very wet weather, this was an ideal place to relax and enjoy some hot food and drinks. The young Propietor and his lady Partner made us very welcome, incuding Harvey our Labrador, and we enjoyed... More

RIght on the station platform, this is a nice place to stop and have a brew. I only wish that the people running it made more of the potential

Thanks very much for you're valued feedback. However I feel I must respond to you're comment " wish the people running it made more of its potential ". Myself and my partner have ran the business alone for the past 5 years without any help and a young family to look after. In that time we have redecorated, replaced extremely... More

Had been looking forward to visiting. Had 45 minutes between trains and refrained from using the on train buffet so I could sample this famous Tearoom. It was closed despite the opening times displayed on the door showing it was open.

We travelled there on a cold day and were desperate for a nice cup of hot coffee. However, we had the dog and first asked if it was OK to bring him in, and they said yes of course. The choice was limited, but it was a nice old fashioned style and they made the coffee fresh for us and... More

It was pouring with rain as we walked the West Highland Way. The station is about half a mile off the Way, down a good forestry track. Dripping cyclists and walkers were all welcomed. The fare was cafe style - a cuppa and a piece of homemade cake, or fairly basic meals. Quite reasonable value and worth the detour.
