We were staying close by and went without booking, very busy but managed to get us a table. Very glad they did. Food is fantastic!! Lovely owner who chatted to us for a long while, really nice, friendly country hotel with lovely food!!!

Meal was delicious and beautifully presented. Room layouts and decor reflected place, great atmosphere. Staff pleasant but service slow with some served 5 plus minutes after others. Reasonably good wine selection. Relaxed atmosphere and no pressure to leave the table.
