Very nice place, a bit cramped but have to say the food made up for it. I was part of a large group and everyone enjoyed their meal. Good value for money as well. Pleasant and efficient staff made for an enjoyable evening.

If you want authentic Italian food , then DONT VISIT, they serve supermarket food, If I visit a restaurant then I want fresh food, even pasta. This is what i'm paying for, I visited about 4 years ago are clearly they have not invested in the restaurant as its not changed and nether has the menu. You also have a... More

I don't write responds often, for people who expect a respond in Al Pacino style like to a gentleman two reviews below, I will have to disappoint. Sorry. It is hard to write a good respond as it requires some foundation for it in a review to keep me inspired. Your review comes with some serious criticism and as the... More

Luigi's was recommended to us by the lady at the bed and breakfast we were staying at in Dalbeattie. We couldn't fault the experience!! The service was excellent all the staff were polite and attentive and nothing too much trouble and the food was excellent! Fresh, hot and generous portions! Faultless! Love the cost surroundings just how an Italian should... More

Arrived at 9.03 only to be told the kitchen shut at 9pm. Yes I know they have to shut at some time, but to refuse to feed us being 3 mins late was a bit over the top. A classic example of poor Scottish service. Avoid.

After seen your review I tried to be self-critical about it and see what is so constructive that can help me to improve our "poor" customer service. I came to this conclusion: Nothing. There is absolutely nothing constructive about it. Girl who told you that kitchen is closed for the night was polite about it, I worked from 11 am... More

Arrived at 6.30 and couldn't get a seat (this was a Wednesday!). Booked a table for an hour later...still mobbed, but seated. Great starters, pasta and pizza, house red ...all for 40 quid. Highly recommended.
