We went for breakfast this morning and the place was not open and was looking very closed. Conversation with locals suggests that Bon Ton has been closed for nigh on 1 year. Ring ahead before venturing out.

Whenever I'm in Memphis Bon Tons Cafe is always my breakfast destination. Just a short walk from Beale st. it's worth the walk.

Bon Ton is a fabulous hole in the wall that serves fresh, hot, delicious breakfast. Our table had pancakes, eggs, grits and sausage gravy. The biscuits were perfectly light and warm and scrumptious. Good coffee too.

I read that this place closed, I hope it's not true! We had a great breakfast here and loved seeing the old nightclub down in the basement where Elvis use to perform.

This restaurant is permanently closed. I would not recommend that you make the trip to eat here. I don't believe that it has been open for quite some time.

A great place to eat for breakfast and lunch with good selection. Iced coffee was delish. Tip: the sign says they stop serving breakfast at (if I remember correctly) 11am. So we had lunch instead and went back the next for breakfast--where I discovered that...More
