Majestic seems to be a nice place for lunch when one wants to talk with friends. We shared a grilled cheese sandwich (cheese, mustard, tomatoes and lots of bacon). it was served with crispy French fries. Service was quick. After the hectic atmosphere of Beale...More

Wonderful brunch! The mimosas are beautiful and will make your day! The biscuits they bring to the table smell, feel and taste like my Granny used to make! Set the way for a great meal! We ordered a side of gravy and cheese grits which...More

Cool restaurant atmosphere. Appears to be an old time theatre. They play movies (without volume) on the big screen. Server Andrew was a lot of fun and very good at his craft. Went with a large group and everyone seemed to enjoy their food. I...More

We dined on a Sunday night. It’s a lovely space and the movies being shown (without sound) were a fun touch. However, our server seemed very over-tasked, having to deal with too many tables, and while he certainly worked hard, he should have had help....More

On a recent visit to Memphis we were looking for a good steak and nice surroundings....we were not disappointed at Majestic Grille. Perfectly cooked steak with amazing garlic mash and parmesan fries. The added bonus given that the building used to be a movie theatre...More

Beautiful place. The design takes you back in time to silent picture days. They have the large screen playing old movies. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and service was excellent. Would absolutely return for dinner.

Just had brunch there and it was awesome! My husband had a traditional breakfast but I had the Grilled Artichoke Flatbread and it was great! Majestic mimosa is a bargain and the mini-dessert Key Lime Pie was really good.

While dining at The Majestic Grille you might expect to see Myrna Loy & William Powell sitting at the bar, zinging witty one-liners at each other over ice-cold martinis. Originally built in 1913 as the Majestic No. 1, a silent picture house that entertained Memphians for three decades, the restaurant gives diners a glimpse of the heady Hollywood days of ol'. From the beautifully restored Beaux Arts décor to expertly prepared classic cocktails to warm, gracious service to Chef/Owner Patrick Reilly's award wining, yet remarkably comfortable food, you find yourself feeling transported to another time. Add to that the largest private movie screen in the city showing silent films & classic movies and you're center stage in an atmosphere that reclaims the cinematic glory of the dawn of the silver screen. Named Best Restaurant, Best Brunch and Best Chef, The Majestic Grille has won accolades in regional and national press. As a community gathering spot for the Arts, The Majestic Grille offers up a dining experience that delights all the senses! Whether sipping a mimosa at our 'Ultimate' Sunday Brunch, hosting a business dinner in a private room, or watching the trolley roll by on our beautiful patio, we invite you to join us for a special dining experience in our historic downtown location. We look forward to seeing you soon, Deni & Patrick Reilly
