Walk through the restaurant to enjoy the fabulous terrace. From here the view of the castle, golf course and beach is lovely. Had the daily special lunch - roast beef and onion sandwich on white bloomer for £6.95. Friendly and attentive service - will be back for a cafetière and cake for £2.95 Great value with a great view!

I visit The Plas everytime I visit Harlech, which is about 4-5 times a year. My favourite pastime here is to have an afternoon cream tea, with fresh baked scone, jam and cream, looking over the views of Harlech beach. Beautiful.

We have been here many times when we visit the area and keep returning. The view outside is amazing and never fails to impress. The reason for our visit was to celebrate my 50th birthday lunch with my family. There was a big group of us, including 2 small children and my dog. We were all catered for well. The... More

We made use of their pre-noon tea and cake special. Lovely tea, lovely cake and fantastic views of the castle and Harlech beach. Great restaurant!

I visited yesterday (Wednesday) but, inexplicably, it was closed! I have visited it previously and found it good.

We found good food relatively hard to come by in this part of North Wales. At least here the food came with an outstanding view and was pretty good. The roast lamb sandwich with mint sauce was really delicious. It was small and needed the chips on the side but was a perfect tasty and local lunch dish. The lasagne... More

We stumbled across this by accident and really glad we did. We had lunch on the balcony with beautiful views of the bay and castle. The food was good quality, service was quick and the staff were friendly. Definitely a recommendation if you're looking for somewhere to have a quiet lunch on a day trip to Harlech castle.

Great view; very good pot of well-brewed tea; rather stodgy cherry crumble cake; disgusting toilets; and only accept debit cards if spending over £20 which, in 2016, is pathetic.

We had lunch here and afternoon tea, excellent food and value for money and lovely staff. Fabulous location out on the sun terrace. Well worth a visit.

The Plas Restaurant is situated on the High Street of the Historic coastal town of Harlech. It's frontage gives few hints as to what lies beyond. An elegant Restaurant and a relaxing, comfortale Conservatory, with lawns to it's front taking full advantage of the most spectacular views of Royal St. David's Golf Course and across the bay to the Llyn Peninsular. From the conservatory and terrace there are wonderfully close views of Harlech Castle, once the home of Owain Glyndwr.
