Fabulous independant cafe run by excellent staff. Great cake, sandwiches, soup and atmosphere. We visited with our children who loved the fish tank too!

T.H Roberts is an absolute favourite cafe in our family. They are so careful about allergies and are very friendly with their customers. If there were more options I would rate it even higher.😋

This cafe is nice in general, we briefly spoke to Meg the owner who was lovely, but unfortunately we were served by such a rude woman we don’t feel we could return. Every time we have been in TH and this woman has been working,...she has made some passive aggressive remark, the amount of times she has made rude comments is unbelievable. It’s such a shame that she lets down the whole atmosphere. One of the staff members is a very friendly man who wears hearing aids, we normally chat to him, however today he came over to our 2 year old and poked and prodded her for an uncomfortable amount of time which made her nervous, this isn’t acceptable either. Some staff training (particularly for the rude woman) is definitely needed - generally the staff are great but she has really put us off.More

Post parkrun breakfast location. Was also recommended by friend. It didn't disappoint. Fabulous bacon bap. Proper bacon and lovely bread. Friend has poached eggs on toast. Slightly disappointed that the toast was from a packaged sliced loaf. However atmosphere fab and staff very friendly and...helpful.More

Food is fine but the general upkeep is poor with dirty plates left lying around and taking a long time to clear away, tables not wiped clear, old bits of food lying around. Downstairs was full so we were sent upstairs which was grim. It...plays on shabby chic with lots of secondhand sofas and low coffee tables. That’s okay but the lack of cleanliness does not make for an enjoyable setting for a meal.More

One of my favourite cafes anywhere, situated in a fine old building in the centre of town. Sensibly the interior remains much as it was when it used to be a hardware store and is all the more impressive for it, with a long counter...and plenty of seating on the ground and upper floor. Breakfast are terrific although i suspect one of the main reasons for customers visiting are the fabulous cakes, made by the owner, 'Meg Queen of Cakes', as described by The Sunday Times. Meg and her staff are delightful and I always enjoy my visits.More

Friendly helpful, attentive staff. A properly big full breakfast with excellent quality products, well cooked, served hot and thoroughly delicious. The desserts/cakes also looked amazing but there wasn't any pudding space left in me after the breakfast/brunch. this does give me the perfect excuse to...revisit the place though. :) Lovely place, delightful staff, excellent food, definitely worth a visit or two!More

Popped in here Thursday afternoon after a very long hike with my fiancé. It's a very quirky place and the staff are very friendly. We managed to get a seat in 'the snug' which was a lovely private seating area with a sofa. I had...a bakewell slice & cuppa which was lovely and my partner had the full breakfast which he was impressed with especially the quality of the bacon. We would return here again if passing through Dolgellau.More

Lovely quirky coffee shop with amazing cakes. Fabulous homemade carrot cake and lovely honeycomb cheesecake. Large portions - you have been warned! Had great fun swapping banter with Meg and her team. Have been back twice already. We did rather cheekily ask if amongst all...the excellent homemade cakes and pies Meg had any 'proper' cakes like those produced by Mr Kipling.... And were shocked when some were fetched from the back and delivered with a sarcastic comment and a wink. For those who like a bit of banter, you'll find your match in Meg!More
