Saw the reviews and after a brisk walk on the beach came back for dinner. Food was good and very reasonable pricing. Even brought a little dish of treats for our dog. best fish and chips I have had in ages. Very light batter. After talking to one of the local ladies she was surprised we had come out to... More

We weren't sure how busy the place was as we had not visited before so I thought it best to phone through a reservation. On arrival we mentioned the booking and was told the dining area was unoccupied so we took our drinks through hoping someone would soon take our order although there were no menus out. We were clearly... More

We feel upon this pub just by chance, driving round looking for somewhere that did gluten free food!! Wow didn't have to ask as a massive sign outside saying they do! There is one menu and is clearly mark GF and to be honest there wasn't much on it that wasn't marked with it. We had the GF pizza which... More

We visited here on our first night in the area, the pub was busy with locals which is good. The pub is dog friendly and our dog got a lot of attention by the locals. The food was fantastic and staff really friendly.

Busy local pub obviously popular with the locals which is a good sign. Quite a big menu with plenty of choice. Food was cheap and cheerful, although the curries weren't strong enough for my taste. Rest of the party were pleased with their meals.

We visited this pub for our evening meal . We booked a table for 6 . We were welcomed by a pleasant and very efficient young chap behind the bar who served our drinks quickly and directed us to our table. The menu was extensive and we were looking forward to our food as we were all quite hungry .... More

We are very sorry to hear that your chicken pies were not edible as they are very popular, however we acknowledge that things can go wrong which is way we always make sure that customers are service checked so that any mistakes can be rectified. I do happen to know that the "pleasant and very efficant young man", Marc, did... More

Upon our 10 day stay at Llanddona, Anglesey, we visited The Owain Glyndwr on several occasions (approximately five but we lost count!). On every occasion we were given tremendous service and food that is undoubtedly cooked fresh to order, at reasonable prices. I have to commend the honesty of the staff; on one occasion a family member left their hand... More

A traditional pub with a smallish restaurant. Decent, standard pub food but distinguished by an unusually comprehensive range of gluten free options. For example battered fish and scampi, apple pies and even fudge cake are all available.
