Called here with a friend, the service was reasonably quick and the food excellent, just a pity the waitresses couldn't be a little more pleasant.

I was staying with friends and thought I'd take them out for a meal so I called in here to see what the menu was like. I was not impressed. My overall opinion was that the place looked tired and grubby - even the menus were shabby. I didn't bother to book a table.

Ordered our food and as I was not very hungry I asked for just a starter, but for it to come with the rest of the group's main meals. My food arrived and I asked the waitress if the other meals were coming she said yes. I started eating mine and the other meals never turned up so I called... More

Generous portion and great tasting food! The pub itself is easily located and good decor inside. Will definitely make this a regular place to go when in North Wales. Would recommend!

Wow. This place is terrific. My friend and I had the Rock grilled sirloin, which is a heated volcanic stone which cooks the steak there in front of you. His wife had the lamb shank which was beautifully cooked and the kids were more than happy with pizza and chicken fillets. The mini combo accompaniment with the steak (mushrooms, onion... More

Due to this being our first visit to to Wales first impressions are everything and I feel it could have been better. We chose a seat in which we were not allowed to sit in as staff were going to eat some dinner!! I also noticed they were shutting very early and people eating were checked on about 4 times... More

Well been as I'm a local after reading the shocking 1 star environmental health award this recently got I decided to give it a chance as we hadn't been since reading about it in the local paper. I was told the owners were away when they'd had a surprise check so yes they deserved another chance as they had food... More

Been here so many times and always enjoyed it but having booked for Easter Sunday lunch wanted hot fresh dinner and was disappointed in quality and staffing. Didn't enjoy the meal much and when paying the one member of staff behind the bar had ten customers waiting so had to wait twenty minutes to get out!!

Visited yesterday with friends. 2 of us had the sausage, mash and onion gravy and 2 had Cajun chicken. Good food and reasonably priced. Service was good :) Will visit again.
