Visited as group of 9 for Sunday lunch, 3 courses for £18.95. Unfortunately there were only 2 beef portions left. Huge portions even for greedy ones like us. You can choose any starter from main menu, then choice of beef, chicken and turkey. Also fish and veggie option. Desserts were creme brûlée (no crunchy top), sticky toffee (huge) and fruit... More

We called in for a weekday lunch with our labrador, they couldnt have been more welcoming. A bowl of water for the dog, without being asked. We had club sandwiches and chips, couldnt fault the food, servuce or friendliness.

Amazing food. Probably the best fish and chips in north Wales. Steak pie was a little dry but it's all about preference. Staff were friendly.

Visited with family on a Saturday afternoon. What began as a friendly welcome and promising start quickly went downhill from there. Customer service and communication was a joke-ordered 4 sandwiches and an additional one for our 3 year old (no children's menu on offer). Ordered 2 sides of chips only to discover that our sandwiches came with chips so a... More

Staff were extremely accommodating with the children, heated a home cooked meal for the 1yr old and supplied a meal 'off menu' for my daughter (3) who polished her plate xx had a slight miss hap with one of the starters but was dealt with a quick and efficient... After a visit to Penrhyn Castle the Anglesey Arms was recommended to us by a couple of ladies at the National trust. The menu was great, lots to choose from for both children and adults. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We ordered the beer battered fish and cheese and onion pie. Both were absolutely delicious! Prices are comparable... More
