Lovely place to stop. Great views. Great food reasonably priced. Prompt service. Just right for what we needed.

We were recommended to visit the Oyster Catcher while we were in Anglesey and decided to visit for lunch. First impressions were very good but the food was very disappointing and the service, although very friendly, was lacking in knowledge. I asked for some dressing for my salad and was supplied with a small bowl of neat Balsamic vinegar. The... More

Me and my family (about 8 of us) went for a meal here whilst we were visiting Wales. We had a 15 month old with us too. The service was amazing and the food was the best I had had in a long while. Every meal was perfectly cooked and the wine and beer were just as good. I would... More

A very pleasant meal for five served by enthusiastic waiters and waitresses. The food was very good and the restaurant deserved 5 Stars. Only awarded 4 Stars as we were overcharged by £22.00 (1/2 Kronenberg and Bottle of Pinot Noir Rosé). There was an only apology; this episode took the shine off the evening which was a shame.

We sheltered from a storm here and had such a warm welcome, very good food, generous portions, tasty dishes and good service.

I first left a glowing review for this place in 2013 and have been back - and enjoyed - the food and atmosphere several times since. Unfortunately, May 2017 it would appear that standards have slipped - and no longer is this place the gem it once was. Service was friendly enough, but the quality (and cooking) of the food... More

Staying locally so visited here after also visiting the previous year. food very good still and has nice views towards Rhosneigr and the Lake. Too full just from the mains for dessert but enjoyed what we had. The only negative is the seats were very uncomfy and hard!!

Stumbled upon it while on a drive. Had a lovely seafood platter starter and an equally nice Sunday dinner. Shame they had no mussels that day as i have heard they are the best. Staff where all really pleasant. Will definitely return one of the best places to eat on anglesey only behind the lobster pot for me :) see... More

Haven't been for a while..so passing thought it would be nice to have an afternoon drink. Well shock horror!! the place has gone downhill big time. The furnishings are worn and torn and the place lacked atmosphere. So walked out. Thanks. Now off our visiting list with so much competition in the area.
