We stopped here after walking from Marloes deer park, so definitely ready for a hearty meal. I had the fish pie, which was delicious and my OH had the John Dory - which was quite pricy but very tasty. Granted there is not much local...More

We called for a light lunch and decided on soups. The mushroom was ok if a bit thin. The fish soup (purée) tasted alright but the bowl wasn't very large and it was only one third full; £8.50 was too much for so little.

Dale is not in Haverfordwest, it is in fact a village more than thirty minutes away by car. Any fool with Google would be able to see that. Since TripAdvisor does not seem to desire to fall into that category, and their usage of the...More

Do not go to this pub for a meal if you do not like fresh fish and seafood. Other reviews have criticised it for chicken and leek pie or the frozen fish off its main menu totally missing the point. The just out of the...More

I chose a delicious mackerel pate followed by perfectly cooked sewin served with a medley of green vegetables and a delicate mustard and tarragon sauce. Highly memorable and to be repeated.

Stopped here for dinner as it advertised lobster but was only one left! The service was brilliant, the food delicious, the presentation good. We will be returning before we set off back home!

Yes, a gentleman in wheelchair dined at the Griffin when we were there. I would suggest booking to ensure access to the table is unhindered, however the staff are really helpful.
