Several people from my walking group ate here over Easter on several different occasions. Sometimes difficult to judge a pub from the outside but general view was that it is very good and excellent value for money. Good choice on menu and large portions. Veg...More

Popped in for lunch and enjoyed Steak and Ale Pie and my wife enjoyed Hunters Chicken. Chips very nice and a change to have proper home made. Beer was also a highlight of the visit. Highly recommend.

Ate here in the evenings whilst on holiday. Couldn't fault the food or the service. The bar was quite noisy, but as I was staying there during the Euro 2016 tournament, this was to be expected I guess

Staying at a nearby hotel, we popped in for a couple of drinks one evening. Rustic furniture, plenty of customers, many of whom were eating. Seems popular with locals with a variety of entertainment available during the week.
