Arrived here for lunch while walking the Wales Coast Path (which runs almost past the front door). I didn't fancy a large meal, but the landlord let me order two starters - which were both delicious and, together, nicely filling. Also very attentive service.

We were recommended this by some friends who had eaten there the same week. On arrival we were welcomed and served drinks and our order was taken prior to being seated. The table was booked for 7.30 but we did not sit down until almost 8.00pm. Starters arrived promptly and were excellent however our main course of fillet of plaice... More

Goan y Afon and Riverside Hotel are the same establishment. Food is excellent at a mid range price point.

Great menu, lovely decor, superb food, nice atmosphere. All the staff were attentive and friendly but also efficient.I would recommend it to friends around the country. Wasn't expecting it to be so excellent from the outside view and it being rural. just brilliant

From the moment we entered we were greeted by genuine smiles. The service and atmosphere were great, the food could not be beaten. The best night out I've had in years. Many, many thanks.

I wandered in after a day walking around the costal and forest paths. More restaurant than pub but still a nice feel to the place. On the main menu there are a few dishes that can be ordered in a smaller starter size, which was great as I like to have a starter and main but don't like to stuff... More

Very friendly staff . Menu not the largest but sufficient. The food well worth the wait, a chef that handles his food with delicacy. The sea bass main just excellent and the budding adults with us had steak burgers which surpassed their wildest hopes and filled their hungry bellies. Everyone said they would come back, which does not happen every... More
