What a lovely Bistro. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Superb food all locally sourced. Great selection for vegetarians. Reasonably priced for the quality of food.

its advisable to book as its only a small restaurant but this adds to its appeal. staff were very friendly and attentive. The waitress/Manager (not sure) had even sourced some ingredients from a family garden. The food tasted home cooked and prepared with care. We were very well looked after. Very fresh enthusiastic feel to the atmosphere. Lovely.

Lovely choice for vegetarians. It is very annoying when you are just offered one thing to eat - certainly not the case. Service great.

My boyfriend and I visited Number Twenty One for an evening meal which we really enjoyed. We had the main of fish and chips and quite possibly the best pudding we have ever had. It was the chocolate brownie- I definitely recommend ordering this yourself! It was a quiet, relaxing spot and we were served by two friendly girls. Will... More

Two girls serving were very friendly Could have done with one more bit of bread with the pâté Duck was excellent although slightly disappointed with the 'duck fat chips' - my husband really enjoyed his lamb It was busy - many appeared to be locals / regulars - always a good sign!

Tried to have lunch at 21 and even though only four people were eating at the time and there were many empty table the chef looked at us then told us in a brusque and rude manner that there was no tables available for the entire lunch serving.. When we walked past thirty minutes later there were still several empty... More

I have eaten there a few times but wanted to take my husband. We managed it last week and he thanked me for taking him about 5 times. The food is really tasty and a bit different. The portions are just the right size to enable you to have starter, main and dessert. I can't praise this establishment highly enough

We've been meaning to go here for ages, we finally made it last Friday evening. What a treat, we were greeted by our friendly waitress and had a lovely meal and great service.
