New management has taken over - sadly. Recently bought some fish & chips (large portions). It was nowhere as good as the 'old management'. Fish portions have been halved, used to be beautiful big portions (especially when you are spending £10.00 or more for 2 people) in a really nice batter, with a very generous amount of chips. We were... More

Greasy. I thought I'd try a bag of chips and some cod as I was passing through one lunchtime, I wish I never! The smell of oil outside should have been a tell tale sign! Chips were cold, and cod was greasy. I won't rush back in a hurry!

Whether its for a quick bag of chips or a dining experience for a group, these guys have it covered. They are not your "ordinary" chippie. Visited here for a takeaway last night and the fish was as good as it gets. Lovely taste, no bones and beautiful batter. Chips were great as well. My husband had lasagne and my son had chicken curry and both said they were excellent. It's the only fish and chip shop we'll be using in future. Service was great as... More

Visited here after seeing it have such a high rating on tripadvisor. I assumed it was a fish restaurant , but in reality it's just a fish n chip shop, with limited opening times. The food was average , the fish was fairly greasy , although nice & crispy batter. This rating is because I don't think it deserves to... More
