Service, taste, value go to Maria’s!

We rented and Airbnb that was across the street from Maria’s. We love breakfasts and I was looking to explore Mexican cuisine. Maria’s did not disappoint. We ended up eating breakfast here each morning we were visiting. The Chilicillas with red sauce were amazing. The Choriso burritos cooked just right. The pesto omelette was a standout with a fresh pesto sauce on plenty of veggies and cheese. Me st man dishes come with roasts red potatoes and for seasoning an amazing house red and green sauce. He sister runs the souvenir shop a few doors down. Go to Maria’s for value, taste and service.

Amazing experience!

Out of all the restaurants in San Pancho that I’ve been able to go to, Maria’s by far has been the best dining experience. The attention to detail is excellent and our server Anabel was very professional, fast, friendly and provided outstanding service! I highly recommend the Chilaquiles and the fish tacos, they were delicious and fairly priced.

My husband and I went to San Pancho for a Wedding this weekend and we came to Maria’s restaurant for breakfast. We order the pesto and shrimp omelette, both were delicious. The green juice was great, so refreshing and they offered a carrot cupcake just home made. We arrived at 9:30 am and we sat at the garden area, was a great choice, we got out at 10:30 and the restaurant was full by that time. So I recommend be early. The service was great, our waiter was Anabel and she was great, always helping us with the menu, quick attention and a big smile. The kitchen and restrooms were clean.

To echo everyone else who has left a review for Maria’s it’s the best restaurant in San Pancho! We ate breakfast there three days in a row. We tried all their specialty egg dishes and all were cooked to perfection and delicious. You must try this restaurant for breakfast or lunch because they are closed for dinner.

Great place to eat breakfast and lunch!

Fantastic food and wonderful service. We went back twice for brunch. They serve breakfast and lunch 8:00-3:00, closed on Wednesdays. Lovely green drink but it’s filling so watch out if you want to save room for your meal!

They only serve Breakfast all day on Sunday . . .

We have eaten here several times in the past and loved it. This year we timed our Sunday visit for lunch. After we had been seated and were looking at the menu, the waiter told us they only serve breakfast all day on Sunday. So we left and went next door to Victors. But I still highly recommend Maria's!

Good lunch but lots of bees and flies

My parents and I stopped by Maria’s for lunch. We had excellent mimosas and the food was pretty good. They prepared shrimp tacos for my picky father perfectly, and the other shrimp tacos and chicken nachos we ordered were good overall. The only annoying thing is that when the food arrived, we were swarmed by flies and bees. It got so bad we ended our lunch early and left.

Stopped in for lunch. The host / owner was very welcoming. Good service, good food. Fish tacos were on the soft side, but delicious and not too heavily battered. Son had a Caesar salad which he found a little strong. Probably the capers which I thoroughly enjoyed after he was finished! Several young families present and clientel appeared to be an even split of locals and tourists. Loved the historic photos on one wall going back several generations. Nice touch.

My visit to Maria's in San Pancho was a delight from the moment I walked in! The cozy atmosphere and friendly service made the experience memorable. I tried the chilaquiles for breakfast, and it was simply spectacular! The authentic flavors and impeccable presentation made every bite a unique experience. I highly recommend the chilaquiles at Maria's to all Mexican food lovers. Without a doubt, it is the perfect place to start the day with a delicious feast. Do not miss it!

Best breakfast in San Pancho

Maria’s is a wonderful restaurant with a great atmosphere, friendly staff and incredible food. Our waiter, Abraham, went above and beyond to take care of us and his friendly demeanor made our experience even better. As for the food, it was the best we had in San Pancho. Everything from the chilaquiles to the waffles was unbelievably delicious. The owner, Maria, was very personable and shared many stories with us, which were highly informative and entertaining. When we return to San Pancho, this is definitely a place we will come back to.

Loved Maria's! Great staff, food, and prices. Cute native decor. Delicious food beautifully prepared. I had tortilla soup, mahi mahi with cilantro sauce, 2 Colimitas (nearby craft beer), flan, and espresso. (I was hungry, OK?) All that for only $30 US. I tried to pay by card, but the server couldn't get a wireless signal on the handheld machine, so I paid cash. I was there for an early dinner, so had no trouble getting a good outside table, but it fills up later on weekends.

Great breakfast and lunch place

My husband and I ate several times at Maria’s during our 5-day stay in San Pancho. The owner, Maria , is ever present and makes sure her staff pays attention to details. Maria was born and raised in San Pancho. The wait staff’s customer service attitude is exceptional. Prices are reasonable and the food is prepared well and presented well. Strongly recommend as a mainstay for breakfast or lunch.

So good, we went two days in a row

When you are in Mexico, there is so much good food to discover. For my wife and I, going back to the same place two days in a row isn't something we typically do. But how could we not do that? I simply had the chilaquiles twice, which were delicious, but my wife said that the chile relleno was spectacular. Come and you won't regret it. We had the pleasure of being served by Seida, who is just the sweetest person and provided an excellent dining experience. She served us both times and even remembered what I ordered the day before, down to the drink! I don't know if we'll be back in San Pancho anytime soon, (Mexico has too many wonderful places to visit) but my "suenoitos" (little dreams) bring me back to Maria's.
