Had the fried squid, the caprese salad and the croc & roo. All dishes were good, great service from the mustachioed waiter, fast and friendly 😊

Used to come here often about a year ago for really excellent food and great service. Returned this evening and was really disappointed. Out of the four of us: - T Bone and Rump steaks were both super tough (medium rare/rare) and really hard to cut and swallow - Ribs were tough as well (they used to fall off the... More

I take my boyfriend here on his birthday every year. He loves getting the steak & ribs combo at $56. We came here with his family this time and we ordered the combo, barramundi, pork ribs, fish & chips and I had the salmon. The food is excellent (especially the lamb ribs!) but it IS a little bit on the... More

We dined here on a spectacular day in April. It was a public holiday so the whole of Manly was busy. The restaurant was busy but had plenty of staff; we just seemed to get missed when it came to taking our order and getting us our bill. The food was pricey, but very nice and this meant my rating... A great location to enjoy the people and many interesting cars passing by on a pleasant Saturday at the beach. And the food was good too. We had a clam chowder, a barramundi fillet, and a whole barramundi (advertised as taking 20 minutes longer, although it didn't seem like the wait was that long). The restaurant was busy, but not... I visited Manly Grill on a Friday night with a group of twelve of my work colleagues. The view was great overlooking Manly Beach the meals were quite pricey though, with the cheapest steak on the menu costing almost $40. Overall nice food, but very pricey.

Have come here a few times and cannot fault the food. I'm a steak snob and they're always cooked perfectly. On this trip I came with two others and we all agreed the food was perfect: oysters, steaks, ribs and creme brulees. My only complaints are that the waitstaff interpret a "scotch and dry" differently and I've had three different... More

I was advised to go here by a few friends after the demise of Ribs & Rumps to get my meat fix. I wasn't disappointed. The food (I had the lamb rack, my wife had the salmon) was great, and the price was reasonable considering the location -- one of the more expensive spots in Manly. Looking forwards to going... I went with a couple of friends and really had a good time. Great food combined with great service. I had a steak and ribs combo and it was awesome, a lot of food for a reasonable price. Definetly will go back again!

Quickly seated and well looked after, clean fork almost before mine fell to floor. Food, plenty of choices, great servings, very tasty. Well done.

Neighbourhood Profile
A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants as well, especially along the family-oriented areas like Shelly Beach. An excellent way to experience Manly is to rent a bike and explore the dedicated bike paths and off road trails. The North Head National Park is another must-see. Located on the southern tip of Manly, North Head National Park offers great bushwalks and panoramic views of the city.
