We shared a BBQ platter with sweet potato fries. We also ordered a slaw side and were advised by the lovely waitress that the slaw was included on the shared platter. The meal was sensational, so tasty and fresh, the fries were the best ever! This was one of the best value meals ever simply due to the quality and... More

Three adults and one child all ordered very different breakfasts here. The service was good, although the place was quiet when we visited. The choice of juices was great and healthy and the food menu suited all. Avocado dishes were fantastic. We had high hopes for the pancakes which looked fantastic but were disappointingly unfluffy and heavy. Such a shame... More

It's got a polynesian vibe to the place, with murals and decor to match! Cool place to hang out. Right opposite Manly beach! I had 'The Acapulco' burger, which was very nice! We stopped in for early dinner. So there was only a few people.

Went in on Sunday afternoon. Place had plenty of space - only two-three tables had customers. 1) had to ask for the menu. It was the food menu only. 2) had to wait for the service and ask for it, "Wait a bit, will come soon". 3) ordered snacks, then when ordering drinks the waitress said he will bring the... More

Popped in for brunch on a busy Sunday. Had yummy Zucchini fritters- delicious. Other half chose Pancakes and said they were good. Service was up and down but overall good. Atmosphere was great, a good spot to people watch.

Lovely bar / restaurant overlooking Manly main beach. We had an afternoon snack and a drink. King Prawn Tempura was fab. Plenty of prawns , piping hot. Reasonable priced.

I have been to the Sugar Lounge twice and both times encountered overcharging on the bill. The first time I discovered we had an extra breakfast on the bill and was able to return a few minutes later for a refund. Today I was in a hurry and did not immediately notice three extra items on the bill we did... More

Neighbourhood Profile
A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants as well, especially along the family-oriented areas like Shelly Beach. An excellent way to experience Manly is to rent a bike and explore the dedicated bike paths and off road trails. The North Head National Park is another must-see. Located on the southern tip of Manly, North Head National Park offers great bushwalks and panoramic views of the city.
