Had a delicious meal hear for lunch on Saturday. Mixed platter, haloumi, greek salad, salt and pepper squid. All fabulous. Love service and staff. Was a beautiful day so sat outside. Would highly recommend.

We thought we would try this with a visitor from Melbourne. we were pleasantly surprised. It's a great spot with views to the ocean. Has a Mediterranean feel about. The food was good, tasty and fresh. the service was a bit slow but you don't mind on the weekend. Great choice of Greek beers too. If you have tried some... More

We arrived after a stroll on Manly promenade on a sunny Saturday afternoon in April. Looking for something different from fish and chips, we were happy to see a Greek restaurant with tables in the sunshine. A lovely Chinese lass took our order, and that is where the good times ended. We ordered whitebait with lemon and tzatziki which arrived... More

I had the pleasure of visiting manly recently and we chose to dine here. We found the food very poor quality. Servings were small. And grossly overpriced. There were no Greek staff and the staff there said they didn't speak Greek because they were from Bangladesh. The Greek salad was abysmal tasteless full of lettuce with a sliver of feta... More

I am not a fan of Greek restaurants as why should I pay for something we have been cooking for years at home, and which I know will be priced off the planet. I have eaten at many Greek restaurants and they ALL fit the same mould. Arrogant and pompous staff, small meals and big prices. I only have one... More

We booked for 11 people, and were squeezed into a footpath slot behind drop down blinds which hit you in the head with every gust of wind! If you were on the other side of the table you had to get up every time someone needed the restroom as no room to move past. Drinks order for 5 people( rest... More

I'm saddened to get this far in having to be most critical of this restaurant as we have been here dozens of times and introduced many people to it. It was opened a few years back a chap & his son who previously had another eatery by the same name & 'Snives' in St Ives which unfortunately burnt down a... More

We had the dolmades and four dips. Very bland taste. Not worth going here for the food, but at least it's a nice location and interior with Greek music playing in the background.

We dined at Ouzeria on a Wednesday night, and the restaurant was probably half full at most. While our waitress was friendly, she was either brand new to waitressing or had no training whatsoever. While she was all smiles, she was very slow in taking our orders, had to repeat herself several times, and would often dissappear, making it difficult... More

Such a shame this has been taken over, gone down hill!!! We are Manly locals and used to love our nights at Ouzeria before the current management took over. Tonight was our 2nd visit under the new management - massive disappointment and it will be out last. Took ages to be given a menu (got up and got our own... More

Staying in Manly

Neighbourhood Profile
Manly
A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is a great way to experience Sydney Harbour Bay and the Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants as well, especially along the family-oriented areas like Shelly Beach. An excellent way to experience Manly is to rent a bike and explore the dedicated bike paths and off road trails. The North Head National Park is another must-see. Located on the southern tip of Manly, North Head National Park offers great bushwalks and panoramic views of the city.
