Just popped in here for a few pastries, came out very happy indeed! Other than the great name, they do their food well, it's in a great area, and they are friendly and efficient

We were hungry for breakfast after our early morning stroll across the Sydney Harbour Bridge, so we were happy to see this pie shop at the other end. We each had a breakfast pie. I had the one with bacon, and my girlfriend had the vegetarian version. Both were made with very nice crust (flaky, just like the name) and... More

On exit Of eastern side of harbour bridge walkway. Two shops along we came to this gem. Small but good things come in same boxes. We have a breakfast pie and beef and mushroom pie along with a vanilla slice. All were extremely tasty and made on the premises. Coffee was sensational and topped off a great lunch. Prices were more... More

The bakery is under the northern side of The Sydney Harbour Bridge. It was the start of our walk across. Many things set this small bakery apart from the norm. The service was prompt, efficient but still very personal and extremely friendly. They quickly showed that they wanted to help you: they aimed to please and it worked. They smiled and... More

We stumbled into this place after walking across the harbor bridge. Coffee was fantastic. The quiche was delicious. We contemplated going back for a second round the next morning! Check this place out!

We had a quick bite to eat from the Flaky Tart - and I thought that the savoury quiche was excellent - with a delicious light hot water crust - fit for Bake-off!

I bought a Jaffa cake from this bakery recently and it was delicious! It was for a friends birthday and everyone who had some said it was really yummy. it was lovely and moist inside the choc icing was not too rich and the orange/Jaffa flavour of the cake really came through. If you need a cake - try this... More

Flaky Tart is one of a number of bakeries in Rose Bay, located near the intersection of Dover Rd and New South Head Rd. Being located right at a major bus stop, the bakery does have a major advantage over the others. However, having been here on numerous occasions and having tried a range of offerings - coffee, chicken and... More
