The food is really outstanding and reasonably priced, in fact, not much more expensive than the Pub over the road. The service was great, atmosphere excellent, kind of beach chic. I go every year and have not been disappointed yet.

Celebrated our wedding anniversary here and loved the atmosphere, fantastic staff and food that was outstanding. The caimans, zucchini flowers for entree were so delicious and the main courses of King prawns and spatchcock we shared were also fantastic. The deserts of Turkish delight ice cream and meringue with custard and passionfruit topped of a delightful night. For what we... More

Service is friendly and efficient but it is the food that shines here. We ate three entrees for a delicious light lunch and each was good, two really good, one good. Octopus and Ox Tongue both with delicious salads and fresh from the charcoal were simply excellent, the stuffed zucchini flowers not quite so good. Desserts were fresh and light... More

We are regulars to A La Grecque and have been since it opened 11 years ago. Great food, impeccably sourced and cooked well with a Greek flourish that enhances the integrity of the ingredients without overpowering them.

Looking for a great restaurant on the coast proved to be quite difficult, and we settled on trying out 'A la Grecque' . I am so glad we did. I can't believe how much we ate, but we must have tried nearly everything on the menu. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed every plate, every course, and the kindness of... More

We stopped here for a late Sunday lunch and it was well worth the price tag. Seafood, lamb and all produce was fresh and delicious. A real gem that makes Aireys inlet and the Fairhaven area even more appealing these days.

We eat here at least once during our holiday in the area. The Greek food is great, the service is good and view as the sun sets delightful. It is a good idea to book, especially in the summer holidays. The food is well presented and delicious, the seafood is particularly good. I also enjoy the kefalograviera cheese as an... More

Sitting outside on a summer's night looking at a soft pink sunset added a lot to this experience. The calamari is excellent and there is a very good cauliflower dish. The main course fresh local fish was good enough, competent but not to die for. There is a house Chardonnay by Farr - it was the highlight for me

A la Grecque was simply outstanding. Deserving of a hat. Food equal to often surpassing the best in melbourne or anywhere for that matter. Local flavours and fresh produce dominate. Service brilliant. Passion evident. A must visit for any occasion. Come for lunch to soak in the Airey's surrounds.

A la Grecque could well be the best Greek restaurant outside Greece. A big statement, but these days when diners are looking for authenticity, character, good service and fine food, this restaurant delivers on all counts. In addition, the owner is on hand to welcome guests and advise on the wine list. This personal touch is hard to come by... More
