This business is now closed. A new business has opened and has amazing food and coffee. Trentham is a lovely country town with food opportunities for everyone.

Tucked down a side-street in Trentham, this is as nice a cafe as I've been to anywhere. The coffee is wonderful. Food is very nice with generous portions. Plenty of seating, inside and out. Generally quiet with light background music. The premises are spotless, check out the toilets that put most restaurants and cafe's to shame. Free wifi (a rarity... More

Absolute great location, away from the crowds. Sat outside under the autumn trees in the sun. Service however was definitely lacking. Was told it was table service however after waiting quite a while went inside to order - to find the place only had one staff member working who was incredibly flustered trying to make coffees, take orders, finalize bills,... We stopped in recently with our toddler on the way to the falls. The staff were very warm and friendly and quickly removed a chair so we could fit the pram in. I had a almond milk cap which was the best I have ever tasted! My husband had a normal cap and agreed it was the most magnificent coffee.... More

Love my morning coffees and chats at the Colliban. The couches next to the fireplace are the best in winter. Unfortunately Trip Advisor limits reviews to 5 starts, would have given The Colliban an extra star if I could.

After having a light lunch at the redbeard bakery which by the way is slightly pricey, we walked past this store & there were patrons sitting outside having a coffe, it looked & smelt pleasant. Good coffee always smells good! The store was about to close but the shop attendant/barista was more than happy to make us 4 coffees. One... More

The Colliban has a lot of coffee competition in Trentham but does serve the best coffee (and their 'Colliban Sunshine' fruit juice mix is just as good). Delicatessan products are excellent and very good value. HUGE wine range - we're not vintage connoisseurs but they seem to sell a lot! Set in the pleasant quiet of Market Street, where parking... Leaving Daylesford we decided to grab something on the way. We stopped to grab a hopefully lighter loaf of sourdough bread from the Redbeard Bakery as the last one had great taste by very heavy. We went around to the Colliban Foodstore and was very excited by the coffee aroma. After ordering our coffee's (beautiful ) and looking at some... More

Fine food in a pleasant country town. Lunch in warm and stylish decor. Excellent bowls of wholesome veggie soup. Our friends very much enjoyed their platter of meats. Excellent coffee. We all intend to return.

We ordered basic cuppacinos and when they arrived looked ok but tasted like the coffee beans had been reused. The good thing we bought here however was their bread which was great.
