The M.L.Rose story began in 2008 in the Melrose neighborhood. Melrose was on the verge of transformation and in need of a great neighborhood bar. The food here was delicious and they have a big and unique beer/drink menu. We ordered the loaded waffle fries, sweet potato waffle fries and different types of burgers. Can’t go wrong with any of these choices! I would definitely visit here again for the nice selection of food that they have and it is reasonably priced!

This was one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. I had the Belgian, which was suggested by the waitress. It came highly recommended by three locals so we gave it a try and were NOT disappointed. The staff was nice, friendly, efficient and followed Covid-19 protocols. This restaurant is in the Capital View area, near the Hampton Inn and Suites and worth the walk.

Met a friend and we were able to sit outside for dinner on a lovely evening. Ordered the fried cauliflower as an appetizer and the strawberry fields salad for dinner. The cauliflower was on the crunchy side so I didn't like it very well. In my opinion, it should have been cooked more before it was battered and fried. The salad was delicious! I ordered iced tea and our serve came by often for refills. Nice clean restroom too.

After restaurant cancelled reservation, we decided to cross the hotel street and have dinner there. Staff was friendly, and cleaned tables and practices social distancing in a faster way. Waitress was kind and friendly, and gave us time to decide our drinks and food. Good short bar food menu, easy to read, separate menu for beers with some good selection. My wife ordered nachos and I ordered a burguer, nachos were exceptional, my hamburguer was ok, slightly overcooked and saggy bread, but not bad at all, only highlighting space for improvement due to place is advertised as specialized in hamburgers and beers. But it was ok overall.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn, one block away from here. The staff at the hotel mentioned this place and two other nearby restaurants. Since we like chicken, burgers, and the like, I opted to try this place.
Although it was only a block from the hotel, my wife cannot walk that much, so I went there alone. It was packed on the Thursday I went, around 5 or 6 p.m. So I ordered and returned about 30 minutes later to pick up the food. There was a little confusion about the order when I arrived, because the one who took the order didn't normally cover takeout. But she saw me standing there while the usual person was busy, and filled the need. When I returned I mentioned her name and all was good, here's your food. Glad she went the "extra mile" to help me out, rather than think, "It's not *my* job." So service is exceptional.
The food was great too. We had a cousin of my wife visit us at the hotel, so we ate the food later, since she arrived about the time I came back with the order. But, popped it into the room microwave, and it was still good!
If we had eaten on location, we might have had to wait for a table. The place was packed. It seemed like this was a local hang out place for the 30-40 year old crowd. I can understand why, given the service & food.
Even though I walked there from the hotel, there was plenty of nearby parking.

This used to be one of my favorite spots. They still have the potential to be everything they always were but home office management and the owner have their heads lodged securely in their colons.
At this specific location, there was a lack of mask enforcement DAYS after the city ordered them mandatory. On employee from the kitchen was even out among the tables loudly and obnoxiously proclaiming to his friends that the whole virus is a hoax and he only wears the mask because they make him, etc etc.
Makes you wonder how many staff members like him don't take it seriously.
Management seemed hamstrung by a lack of leadership from the administrative bosses, and said they were waiting for directives - which should not be a position they were put in DAYS later, after the requirements were clearly set out.
I very lightly complained about this circumstance on Facebook and later heard that a manager at an entirely different location got all butthurt at my concerns, which led me to take the issue to the inbox of A. Ray Hospitality's Facebook page where my message was read and sat, entirely neglected. Management clearly doesn't have the spine to answer for their own oversight or the unnecessary drama whipped up by the reaction of their employees. This is horrible and unacceptable communications management and not the way to meet critics - especially those like me who've supported the ML Rose brand since DAY ONE over a decade ago.
That's not the first time a message to them was read and left languishing without reply. Lousy, lousy social media management.
They remain a favorite and I adore many of their staff, but this whole incident has left me burned and feeling very unwelcome, and even created a huge wedge between myself and a (now former) friend who is a regular at one location.
Shame to see such a great local staple and concept get so sloppy and stupid.

Went for brunch my wife's food was good. I ordered the brunch burrito the menu's description chorizo onion cheese hash brown green peppers. I scooped out everything inside the the tortilla looking for food l could have put it all one table spoon .I won't be back

The 4 of us enjoyed our meal there. The decor is amazing and worth a peek. Due to the heat, we sat inside and had good service.
The menu is varied and offers great hamburgers. We all found something to our taste.
The waffle fries could be a bit more spicy though.

The Service was very good, Amanda took care of use. The food was good but the burger weren’t season consistently, my Wife burger was over seasoned while mine could have used a little more seasoning. All in all the food was pretty good. The beer flight was very good as well. I will be back sometime in the near future.

This is for the New Mount Juliet Location. We visited on Father's Day and WOW absolutely fabulous food and selection of craft beers. My hamburger was awesome and the wife's salad was huge. We will be back

Great food and fantastic service! Trent was prompt and knowledgeable about his beers. He recommended the Stout Burger and it was amazing! The only critique I have is the paper cups for the aeoli and salsa were too small for the quesadillas. They need to be wider so you can dip the quesadilla easier!

Enjoyed the food... I had the chicken sandwich and my wife enjoyed the turkey club. Both of us say that we're ordering the same thing on the next visit. The service was great too!

Very good burger.
5 of us for late dinner.
I had one with some blue cheese sous.
The others a mix of burgers.
All tasted good.
Nice friendly staff.

Great service. Fast service. Burger was delicious. I had the pretzel bites for an appetizer. Everything was awesome. I don’t drink so I can’t comment on the beer selection.
