Love this place. They have the best bologna sandwiches with all the trimmings. A must visit every trip we make to Nashville. It is great bang for a few bucks and they even include a PBR beer, moon pie, and bag of chips.

Believe the hype! Roberts Western World may not be the flashiest of the Broadway Honky Tonks, but it is up there with the best. Drinks and food are a lot cheaper than in the other neighbouring bars (although the menu is restricted to Burgers or Baloney Sandwich). Note for UK visitors, the Burgers are served with Crisps (what the Americans call Chips). If you want Chips (Fries), then they are available at extra cost. The music was second to none - Thoroughly recommend Chris Costello, Kelley's Heroes (Amazing young guitarist!) and Sarah Gayle Meech. All three bands seem to have residency slots here, so well worth checking them out. The Bar itself is long and thin with the band stage at the front by the street door. There is a raised area at the rear which we didn't go up to. The walls are covered in C&W memorabilia with many photos of the country stars who have performed there. Honestly spent one of the best afternoon/evenings of my life here!

If you love old and classic country this is the place to go on Broadway. Great food for the cost conscious including the ‘recession special’ menu- fried bologna sandwich, chips, moon pie and a PBR all for $6. It’s the perfect place to unwind and listen to the classics.

We hit all bars on the Nashville strip and this one was what I thought Nashville was all about. Traditional country music was on stage always. Many of the places we visited were playing covers of Nirvana, Taylor Swift and Skynyrd. The place had fried baloney sandwiches, chips, a moon pie with a PBR for $6. Their recession proof lunch. Robert's had $2.50 PBR, Busch and Miller Highlife cans for the frugal traveler. A rarity in Nashville were two drinks typically cost over $20. I loved the place and went back multiple times during our two-day visit to Nashville. This is real Nashville bar. Recommended!

The local band was terrific, and the Vance Joy band that hours earlier finished performing a show at the Ryman Auditorium next door, enjoyed them as well. It was fun hearing them discuss the other musicians work, whether praising, critiquing, or just stating their styles and habits. There was a 20 minute wait to get in and it was mobbed at 11pm, but slowly got more spacious as 2am arrived and we were sent packing. The food was amazingly inexpensive, and the barkeeps were hustling. Many kept getting orders for 6 cans of beer or more for a group, where only one person would get close enough to the bar.

We just adore this place! To us, it has a true honky tonk vibe to it. Always great bands. Friendly staff. We felt the drink prices were reasonable by Nashville standards. We sat and enjoyed the band while having some drinks. We even ordered their Recession Special which included a friend bologna sandwich, bag of chips, a moon pie and a can of Pabst Blue Ribbon for $6. Great deal! My only regret was I didn’t get my tshirts the night before when it wasn’t as busy! We left without them. We will always make Robert’s a must on our visits to Nashville!

This is a narrow bar on Broadway. It’s been around for a long time and we loved it. The food was pub fare and the drinks were inexpensive compared to the big name bars. I had the recession special as per a friends’ recommendation and it was surprisingly good. The atmosphere is noisy and fun and the music was outstanding. Service was excellent for such a busy place. Be sure to set aside some cash for any bar you go into. The musicians are living through the tip buckets they carry.

Had a great time at Robert’s Western World. Was able to find a two person table in the back and we posted up there for a while to listen to the live music. Drinks were cheap and they have a simple grill menu ( onion rings were good!) Bar is consistently busy and got more so as the night went on. Bartenders/bussers consistently went round to clear drinks. Dancing toward the front, near the band. And lead singer came around with tip bucket. All in all a great Honky Tonk experience.

Beer. Bands. Bologna. Dayum. Do not miss this place. Our first Honky Tonk stop in SoBro and ir set the mood and the bar for everything else. We bellied up to the bar and were promptly greeted by a friendly barkeep. We ordered two IPAs. One local and one alcohol free. Both delicious. We came in hungry and ordered the inflation special (fried bologna sandwich with chips, moon pie and PBR) and a burger with fries. Both were delicious and generous portions. The guy playing and singing was darn tootin good too. We are going back a couple more times during our stay in Nashville.

We had a group of 10 celebrating a destination birthday. Robert's was a must go to according to the tour guide we had. So we went. It was a totally great experience. Our Bartender/Server was incredible. She was on point with everyone's order and the food was really good. Most of us had the Recession Special, a fried Bologna sandwich with chips, a moon pie and a PBR for $6.

This was the best deal on broadway! The recession special includes a fried bologna sandwich, a bag of chips, a moon pie and a Pabts BlueRibbon beer. While the food was not even 3 star….the value and experience cannot be beat. Most places on broad charge $8 or $9 just for beer. Here you can order a Miller High Life or Pabts for $2.50 while enjoying live country music.

Ok the recession special is the bomb! It actually was the first time I had a PBR & it was good! For $6 you get the fried bologna sandwich, Lay’s chips a Moon Pie & PBR! You can’t beat it! No trip to Nashville would be complete w/o a trip to Robert’s. I’m not a huge fan of country music (more southern rock), but the entertainment is top notch! Don’t forget to tip the bands! All the entertainment works for tips in Nashville. The bar tenders were attentive & the prices for Nashville bars were the best!

Robert's is a great spot on Broadway that offers music 7 days a week (and gospel on Sundays). The music is classic rock, country, r&b, rockabilly... nothing modern which is why I love it. It gets super busy and it's small so head there early if you want a seat. They offer a few things to eat on their menu like grilled cheese and bugers.

Service was great and Recession Buster can't be beat. Fried bologna sandwich stirred up so many childhood memories and truly one of my favorite least expensive meals but 5 stars to be honest! Music here has that authentic country vibe.
