We enjoyed our experience at Pomodoro East, though not really kid friendly as there is no kids menu. It is a casual and a little trendy. We enjoyed the pig and fig pizza that was slightly sweet with fig and salty with the prosciutto. We also shared the chicken Parmesan that was tender and good. My son ordered the cavatappi and would have been fine Shari g the pizza and chicken with us. The cavatappi and the Pomodoro sauce were a little heavy on the pepper for us. Overall, the service and the food were very good and we would recommend.

We went to Pomodoro East to celebrate my mom's birthday. We tried the pork, chicken parmesan, and lemon artichoke fettuccine entrees, along with the fig and pig pizza. All the dishes were fabulous. The meats were fork tender, and the flavors melded well. We also tried the tiramisu, chocolate cake, and pound cake desserts. We all agreed that the pound cake should be a permanent, not seasonal addition to the menu. Sooo good! Randi, our server, was very kind and her service was impeccable. Will definitely keep this restaurant on our list of favorites for when we return to Nashville.

Visited my son and his fiance in Nashville and they took me to this restaurant. It definitely was a wonderful experience with amazing food. Our server was the absolute best. We ordered several entrees so we could share and all were fantastic. I honestly can not say enough good things about our dinner. This place is definitely a hidden gem!! Look forward to going back again when I return for a visit.

We are regulars at Pomodoro and love the happy hour and the cauliflower crust pizza! The small plates are awesome and you can get wonderful wine or cocktails. They have a great patio that is puppy friendly!

My wife and I visited Pomodoro East for our anniversary, just wanted to try something new, I do love Italian food so I was excited, place is decent in size, the food was exquisite, ambience was perfect, I had the spaghetti and meatballs, my wife had the stone pizza. I definitely recommend that place.

Pomodoro East is in East Nashville. There is free parking in a lot (rare) and they do take reservations. They have indoor & outdoor seating. It is an attractive and comfortable place. Families are welcome. The food is consistently good. I do wish they had a bit more variety. Overall it is a solid choice for a nice meal.

We had the pleasure of eating in the bar area and to be taken care of J.J. Hull. She was amazing and elevated our evening with her suggestions, humor and service. Oh yeah, and the food was delicious. We highly recommend the pizza.

We were at The Southern Grist for a couple of tastings but the menu was limited. Looked up restaurants "near us" and found this one. Had to wait ~ 10 minutes for seating outside on a Wednesday evening. Waiter very attentive and made good recommendations. Everyone in our party ordered something different and all gave rave reviews...this place is a hidden gem- you will not be dissappointed.

Nice restaurant with a family type of atmosphere and outdoor seating area. Very good good with affordable prices and a very kind staff. Recommend it as it has great parking which is hard to find in Nashville.

The Pomodoro East is a lovely Italian Restaurant with an outdoor terrace. We went for dinner when visiting my son and his partner in Nashville and had a lovely time. The greeting was welcoming and friendly and the menu choice was extensive. We decided to have the Woof Fired Pizzas on the Gluten Free Cauliflower Dough and they were delicious. You would not know that this was not normal Pizza dough. I fact, I prefer the Cauliflower Dough. All our food was delicious, the restaurant and atmosphere was great and the staff and service was friendly and efficient. This is the best Italian Restaurant in Nashville.

My husband and I moved to the area just a few months ago within walking distance to this gem. We've been enjoying their great happy hours and fabulous food for dinner, and now, have no idea what took us so long to try their Sunday brunch! In a word... delicious. We had the cheese plate plus charcuterie to start (which we've had before and is awesome) and we both couldn't resist trying the Italian eggs. I had mine with sunny side up eggs, hubby had his with poached- both were divine. I will have dreams about that dish until the next time we eat there. (Pic doesn't do it justice- we dived in before I thought about taking one! Lol) Highly recommend going to here for dinner, brunch and especially happy hour (when JJ the bar manager is working). Steve is the best server and takes good care of you. Actually, the whole staff is really great, we've never had a negative experience here. And if you want a pasta dish to dream about long after... Lemon and artichoke fettuccini. Oh yes.

If you are in the East Nashville area and want Italian and have time, then this is the spot for you. I couldn't get enough of the unique bread. My friends loved the pasta dishes. I'm coming back again to try the coffee. BUT PREPARE TO WAIT or RESERVE a table in advance.

Our first ever meal in Nashville was in Pomodoro East and it was an absolute pleasure. The Bolognese Skillet was amazing and my wife enjoyed immensely the Cast Iron Chocolate Chip Pancakes. Service was fantastic with some recommendations provided and when they realised we were visiting the were able to provide some useful hints and tips of things to do in Nashville free of charge!! Unfortunately we did not manage to get back there this trip but maybe when we return

I have eaten at Pomodoro East three times now and it is very consistent. The food is good. The signature cocktails are good, appetizers are good (I have had the marinated olives and mozzarella en carrozza) , salads are good but nothing really special (caesar and cafe) and the pizza (Margherita and Fig/Pig) and Chicken Parm. My favorite of the dishes was the fig and pig pizza (I had it with no pig) and it was delicious. My only concern was how consistently slow the service is. You can be seated for a while before you are greeted by a server. Then the drinks come out slow, appetizers are slow and the entrees are slow--all making for a very leisurely dining experience, at best. The outdoor patio is great. The indoor dining space is nice too.
