I've been going to Rotier's for years but haven't taken time to review. It's one of those classic "local" favor" stops when visiting Nashville and staying on West End. My favorites are the burgers and the "meat and threes" with some of those tasty side orders. .

This restaurant has been open and running since 1948. I've lived in Tennessee all of my life but as an adult was stuck in a rut of chain restaurants and I'm so glad I'm out of it! All of the staff is super nice! It takes you back in time, there's even a retro cigarette machine at the front door... More

Had the french bread burger. It was delicious; obviously hand-patted burger. Place was a bit dark, but homey, and you could tell it has been around for a while. House-made chips were decent, but I wish they came hot. Requested ranch dressing to go with them, but it never came, but it wasn't an issue since they weren't hot.

Title says it all! Family owned for decades. GREAT food. The rated best in Nashville for a reason. If you're not a burger aficionado, try the open faced roast beef. TDF!!! (To Dir For) Homemade, REAL mashed potatoes to feed an army, and the most succulent gravy I've tasted (sorry Mom). A hole in the wall from the outside, a... More

Had a delightful lunch here with hubby. My meatloaf, broccoli casserole, and buttered spinach tasted delicious! He liked the meatloaf and salad but the onion rings were his favorite. Our server, Lane, was very helpful since this was our first time...she gave great recommendations! We'll be back again for more of that home cooked taste!

My friend who is a local recommended Rotiers. When we arrived I was skeptical, not anymore. While this place is smaller, older and not fancy the burgers more than make up for it. Rotiers staff are really nice. If you want tasty food at a local eatery go to Rotiers!!!!!!

If you are looking for good old-fashioned family owned goodness, this is it. I would describe it as a local joint with excellent burgers. The classic burger on French bread is worth the visit. I swiped out chips for sweet potato fried and my buddy got the onion rings. Smart, for both of us. Prices are right, too!

Good visit, not great though. Service was lacking a little, and the food wasn't it's usual great, but it was still good. Will return.

Came here for lunch to escape the downtown madness. Couple of tvs playing college football, turned up loud enough to hear but not so loud you can't think. Simple menu, good burger.

Looking for a breakfast place and found this one. Been around along time and known for their daily specials = meat & veggies. Wouldn't go for breakfast. Toast was burnt- If I was a waitress, I would have had the chef redo it...
