What a disappointment. I'm truly shocked at the high ratings of this place. The tables were crammed together & it was quite awkward trying to have a private dinner with my husband when another couple was sitting a few inches from us. I ordered a side salad and the scallops that came with lobster Mac & cheese and asparagus. My... More

Once again we enjoyed a wonderful evening at the Midtown Cafe. My husband ordered the veal sampler and I had the veal piccata. Both of us were delighted with our choices as well as with the accompanying beer and wine. Dessert was the delicious Brownie a la mode. Service was exceptional!

We had a large group for a breakfast at Midtown last week- we chose it because we knew the service would be great, but I had no idea the breakfast would be so delicious. Breakfast is breakfast, right? Not at Midtown! A very creative menu, and everyone was happy with their choices. I saw the chicken biscuits, but did not... More

We walked in on a Friday morning without reservation for 11 people and were accommodated very quickly and friendly. Food and mimosas were a perfect start to our Nashville weekend! We wish we had time to go back before we left - it was THAT good! Sweet little spot right down the street from our hotel (Embassy Suites Vanderbilt)

it is not that easy to find a good location for breakfast that is not a chain restaurant. Midtown did a great job in creating a breakfast menu with the standard grits and bacon to a number of sweets and also interesting sandwiches.

We were in Nashville, meeting with Associates from other states. This Café was recommended by hotel. We were a group of 17. Our waitress Tricia made some recommendations. I like grouper but the entree came with grits. I don't like grits!!! Trisha offered a change to mash potatoes but then proceed to convince me that I would never taste grits... More

Across the road from the Courtyard Marriott Vanderbilt and near a lot of other hotels this place is a great breakfast option. Went twice in the morning and had grits to die for (so good) and home cooked eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy and pork tenderloin. Also went with a business party for dinner where the food was good if... More

Stopped in for breakfast after flying in and getting our rental car. We were just driving around and saw it so we figured we would give it a shot. Very cute little place with some very nice people. I had the local trout and eggs and Carol had the "Nashville Pig in a Biscuit Mild Dry Rub Roasted Pork Tenderloin... More
