We had not heard of the place but it was very convenient to the downtown Hyatt. The menu was minimal ensuring the chef could concentrate of the dish----with excellent results. Some of the best Italian we have had in a while. The servers were excellent and eveyone seemed intent that we had a great time---they succeeded.

If you are over 55, you will remember when your parents took you to a nice family restaurant with good hearty Italian food and great music by Frank Sinatra and friends. Well Sole Mio is like looking back on bygone days. The furniture still looks the same. Admittedly when we dined, it was an off night and the restaurant was... More

This restaurant has no ambiance. It is loud, and the tables are closely crammed together. Our server could not have acted more bored, and service was quite slow. It was uncomfortably hot, as the a/c did not appear to be working efficiently. I gave it a 3 instead of a 2 because our food, once it finally came, was fairly... More

I was disappointed with the food. But, I found the staff to be pleasant. I ordered the bruschetta first, it wasn't great. Too much oil, not enough seasoning. Came across as bland. But, the bread was well crisped, which was nice. For a main course I had the pasta corbonarra. Flavor was good, but the pasta was close to over... More

Walking from our hotel we came upon this restaurant that looked interesting.. We are Italian and how could we go wrong with Italian food? We were not disappointed. We are leary having macaroni and gravy out but we were able to pick our own gravy so that was a plus for us to try. Especially since the macaroni was all... More

This is a very nice Italian Restaurant in a city dominated by barbeque restaurants. Nice atmosphere, very quiet and the service was excellent.

Arrived late after a day of travel, friendly staff that didn't seem to mind that we finished after their closing time. Pastas are made fresh daily, and were cooked to perfection. The Carbonara was awesome, and my travel companions enjoyed their lasagna and mostaccioli. Outstanding!!

We traveled to Nashville for the RocknRoll half marathon last weekend. We weren't sure about our arrival time, so we didn't make dinner reservations. We ended up walking downtown Nashville around 7pm without a clue as to where to eat...and if we'd even get in anywhere. We called this restaurant and asked about seating. Sal answered and said to ask... More

Great food...service was awesome. It was prom night so they were extremely busy but had the best service considering the group of kids for the prom.

Possibly the worst Italian food I have ever eaten. Felt sorry for the waiter when we pointed out the Caesar Salad dressing was wrought with mayonnaise. Then there came the Mamma Mio sauce that was supposed to have a pesto base. Instead it was a flat, muddy tomato concoction lumped on tasteless pasta. And there was the burnt chicken in... More

Description
At Sole Mio, all of our Italian dishes are made from scratch from authentic Northern Italian family recipes. When you step foot into our space, you'll feel as if you have stepped out of Nashville and onto the streets of Italy. Sole Mio started on the beaches of the Adriatic Sea over 25 years ago. Owner GianCarlo Agnoletti opened his first restaurant in his hometown near Rimini, Italy. There he developed a passion for wonderfully fresh, Northern Italian food and is pleased to share it with you here in Nashville. Sole Mio specializes in serving fresh house-made pastas, sauces and desserts. Our house favorites include our rolled veal involtini, lobster ravioli and Linguine Carbonara. Don't forget to save room for our Home-made Tiramisu! Sole Mio is the perfect place for special occasions, date nights and even large, private business dinners. Come see why everyone in Nashville knows Sole Mio is the best Italian.
