First experience wasn't great. Food was great. Had the grilled oysters. Just not enough food for the price. Gave them 2 more chances during my trip. Had their buffet for lunch one day. Delicious and a nice variety of great food. Had the gumbo for dinner one night, with a couple beers. Best gumbo I've ever ate at a restaurant.

We had the breakfast buffet for 3 days and the lunch buffet on Sunday. Ordered from the menu some evenings. Food was decent. You are in a tourist town and you are going to pay more than you think you should.

Staying at the hotel usually means convenient and quality dining on site. Not in this case. Pralines was only buffet for breakfast and at $12 you would expect it to be good. Far from it. Overpriced for the food provided and the eggs were cold, food was not resupplied regularly, and the wait staff were inconsiderate and downright rude in... More

I must respectfully disagree with the reviews that run this place down. We were in town for a Car Wash/Oil Change convention and were staying at the Millennium Maxwell House hotel. Arrived on Sunday and decided to give them a try at 8:00pm. Only couple in the restaurant. Ordered the Steak and Shrimp and split it. So glad that we... More

The menu is diverse and the food is very good but key is the great service - hospitable, friendly and efficient.

Nice variety of food.....bacon, sausage (patties and links), scrambled eggs, oats, grits, french toast, biscuits and gravy, hash browns, fruit....Everything I ate tasted good. Staff was helpful and ready to assist.

Great Service and Food. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet and it was reasonably priced. Located in the Maxwell House hotel.

The food at the restaurant was very good, but the staff was AWESOME! Nada Jones and Tenise (sorry, don't know her last name) were so much fun and treated us like royalty!

My son was going in to the marine corps and had to stay at the millennium Maxwell hotel. We ate at Pralines. The Gumbo? Excellent. The fried catfish? Excellent. The beef stew? Excellent. The hush puppies , not so much (undercooked). The chicken and dumplings? Very tasty! I shall return! Dr Mac Drmac@lmcneese.com

I visited Praline's inside the Millennium Maxwell House Hotel for lunch yesterday and had the best experience in a long time. Nada and Tenise were amazing and really helpful the entire time. The food was flavorful and seemed like it was right out of grandma's kitchen. When you get the chance stop in for lunch and I guarantee you will... More
