This was my first time to eat here. I had the kitfa which I thought was the best dish ( meat wise ). I sampled the lamb wat and found it a bit over cooked for my taste. The beef wat was nice and the lentil sides were very tasty. All in all a good experience.

Very flavorful - not burn your mouth spicy! You can taste layers of flavors! Delicious! Great way to try new food. Portions are perfect! Injera is delightful! Total surprise to find such great Ethiopian food in Nashville! (We live in the SF Bay Area and have had great Ethiopian food both at the home of friends and in local restaurants.... More

I ate here on a Monday evening. The place was empty. The outside of the building was not very appealing, however once you step inside you feel like you are experiencing the true Ethiopian culture. From the scent, to the music and interior design. The food was SO Flavorful. The bread was not my favorite texture wise, But definitely a... More

We usually will go for lunch when we have the time available. I haven't experienced other restaurants which serve Ethiopian but I very much enjoy this place. The looks from the outside might not be super inviting but the food inside is delicious! The buffet has both vegetarian options and meat - usually chicken and beef are options on the... More

The did was great the service was awesome and the process were reasonable. We went work a group of 15 and ordered various dishes on the menu and there was not a single item that was disappointing.

I'm no expert when it comes to ethiopian food (this is the only ethiopian place I've eaten), but I'm no stranger to good food and world cuisine. With my little experience, it seemed to me like the vegetables were both under and overcooked. Crunchy chickpeas are nobody's favorite. Service was slow, and it was very difficult to understand the mumbley... More

My family and I visited this restaurant as a result of having read the numerous positive reviews, on TripAdvisor. While the reviews are usually reflective of the actual food and service, this place was the exact opposite. So, what happened? We waited an hour for 2 entrees, and once the food was on our table it was such a small... More

If your looking to eat Ethiopian food DO NOT eat here. Came from NY and I asked them before "we sat down" is this the real authentic deal? Sadly to say it was horrible. What a waste. No real spices - didn't come close to tasting like Ethiopian.

Having gone 30 minutes out of my way, while in Nashville, and choosing this restaurant to have Ethiopian food, I was less than impressed with their quality and authenticity of food. I frequent several Ethiopian restaurants in North America including ones in Toronto, Canada, Atlanta, and Knoxville. The lentils were not completely cooked and we're still crunchy. The spice level...
