My group of 5 dined at Valentino's upon a friends recommendation. I was a little hesitant at first, I haven't eaten here in years & it seemed a little old and stodgy. Well... we had the most amazing meal and service! We sat in a smaller dinning room up front, it was cozy and inviting. Between us all, we had a little of everything, salad, pasta, meat & fish. Make sure to save room for the Bananas Foster, it was quite the show-stopper. I'll be back sooner rather than later.

Excellent intImate ambiance with equally excellent food. Quiet atmosphere/escape away from the all of fun of Broadway. But not pretentious or stuffy. Very pleased that our waiter (who were all great) worked with us to give a half portion of one of the pastas as an appetizer. So pleased we were able to try as the dish and the entress were exceptional. Highly recommend!

My wife and I were staying in Nashville as a stop on a fairly long road trip home from visiting family in Virginia. She searched the web and found Valentino's not too far from our hotel across from Vanderbilt. We made reservations and were there when they opened at 5 PM on a Monday evening. They were not crowded. We opted to sit inside instead of their lovely patio since it had been raining and looked like more. We shared a Caprese salad with buratta. It was to die for. Maybe a little more balsamic vinegar would have been nice but it was excellent. I had their Veal Saltimbocca over roasted potatoes and sautéed spinach. Again excellent. My wife had the Osso Bucco which was extremely tender and a very large portion. We washed it down with a very nice bottle of Barbara d'Asti. Andre' our server (and I think maybe the owner ?) was an excellent host and very attentive. We would certainly eat here again when next in Nashville.

The ambience is great. The food was good, not great. Nice touch to give birthday dessert after meal! The bigger issue was one of the servers. Our main server did wear a mask but the other who would assist did not. Also, he wiped his nose with his had while he moved through the dining room. He was otherwise attentive, keeping our water glasses full and assisting in other ways. But we felt uncomfortable after noticing these things, particularly as we are trying to get comfortable again going to restaurants and eating in public places. Would have gotten higher mark pre-covid (though the nose part would have still been uncomfortable). Even as wearing masks is optional it would be nice to think that restaurants would still take the precautions for a little while longer for us to feel comfortable moving back to normalcy.

We had such a nice meal in July we decided to return. We love the ambience at Valentino’s, it truly is a wonderful dining experience. Table clothes, nice soft musics and most of great food and service. Andre is our favorite waiter. He has been there since we started going to Valentino’s 7 years ago. We usually have pasta but I decided on the veal chop. It was delicious. My husband had his favorite veal parmigiana. Caesar salad to start, always good. They do a lovely table side preparation for 2 that we have had many times, but we wanted a small portion so they gladly split a single salad for us in the kitchen. Cheesecake from dessert also great. I love the little private rooms they have in this lovely restaurant that use to be a private home. If you are looking for a nice, romantic quiet place, this is perfect.

Although their Italian food that I had was good (I asked if the chef could make something not on the menu which they agreed to!) it was the not-specifically-Italian food that was better at our table. Excellent fish and beef were the highlights here along with the wine and atmosphere inside an old home. The service was good. If you're staying in the downtown/Broadway area you'll need a car or Uber to get here; it's a bit too far to walk.

Valentino's is great !! Ambience, service and wonderful food. We took friends there recently and they loved it. I really like that you can have a conversation with your tablemates. So many places are so loud it makes it impossible to have any kind of conversation whatsoever. They have nice soft music, tableclothes , professional waiters and consistently delicious food. Andre our favorite waiter has been there a long time and is superb. The patio is nice, but we prefer the ambience in the historic bldg. Nice seperate rooms make for a more intimate dining experience. I highly recommend Valentino"s.

We made Valentino's our final dinner while in town and were not disappointed. The restaurant is in an old house so there are separate dining areas that are all very cozy and unique. Our server, Grant, was really good at the start of the meal but then kind of disappeared after our meal was served - we think he ended up with a large party. The food was just devine. All the pastas we had were beautifully prepared and the sauces were delicious. We will definitely go back when we're in Nashville again.

The first thing that impressed me was the ambiance. Beutiful surrounding and lovely overhead music (Frank Sanatra for example). Very romantic (Too bad I was alone). I ordered the Cesar salad and Lobster Ravioli. Spectacular! The Roasted garlic, mushroom, crab meat, tarragon brandy cream sauce was amazing! Peter's service was outstanding. I could see by his eyes that he has a wonderful smile behind his mask. I highly recommend this place.

So awesome to rekindle my love affair with Valentino’s in celebration of my first grand daughter. As a former Nashvillian in the 90’s and a staple of many a business dinner during the 2000’s, it was so nice to rekindle the emotions and tastebuds that only the staff at V’s can do. It’s surely been 8-9 years since last there and Andre is still at the bar. The new location maintains fabulous culture and ambience V’s has come to be known for by its vast population of regulars. Thank you V’s for being the place you’ve always been and helping me celebrate one of the greatest events of life!

We had a wonderful meal at Valentino's. It was my wife's birthday diner and we were traveling. I picked Valentino's based on what I had read and we were not disappointed. Everything from the service to the food were top notch. The lobster bisque was creamy and flavorful, and the veal saltimbocca was tender and delicious! My wife had the lobster ravioli, which was great. If your in Nashville and like Italian food, get to Valentino's Ristorante.

Fabulous meal. Nice setting in an old home near downtown. A few items from the online menu were not on the evening’s menu (ex. Cioppino). Our server, Grant was apologetic and made up for it with plenty of alternative suggestions. Excellent, un-rushed service

The service, provided by Grantonio and an assistant was impeccable. There were gluten free options and he checked everything for me. The food was fabulous, we had calamari, veal parmesan and rack of lamb. This was the first veal parm on the bone we have ever seen- huge! Of all the fine dining we did over a period of a week, this was the best food and the only restaurant that acknowledged our 50th Anniversary. Highly recommended, steps away from the Residence Inn, west Nashville/Vanderbilt.

Lovely meal in Valentino’s. We were going to another Italian restaurant but someone suggested this restaurant. We hadn’t booked but they found us a table. We had the flatbread and the special arancini to start. I then had the shrimps in pasta which was delicious- my friend had the ground sausage with spaghetti. Everything was great and the servers were friendly.

Fabulous food, service, ambiance - everything was simply perfect. The layout of the restaurant is lovely with lots of small rooms making you feel as if you are in somebody’s home. The service was sensational - amusing and attentive but not overwhelming and the food - wow! My lasagna was the best I’ve ever tasted (and I’ve eaten a lot of lasagne!) and my husband said his lobster ravioli was superb. I just wish I could have fitted dessert in but had to settle for a limoncello instead 😁
