Went on a date night- was a little concerned when we pulled up, because of the location and the look of the building. Glad we decide to try this place ! Great service- great steaks! Will definitely be going back!

But the French onion soup was so salty it made me gag. The prices were on the high side. Service was good.

My husband wanted a good steak and we could not decide where to go. Then we remembered Fox and the Hound, a restaurant we visited more than 20 years ago. We made a great decision. This is a restaurant that you have to ring the bell in order to get in. Quirky left over from when Newport was not able... More

Found this place in accident. Doesn't look like much on the outside but the food and hospitality were great!

We had dinner here for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised by the food. It was tasty! The French Onion soup and clam strips were delicious. The server didn't have the best social/people skills, it was a little awkward, but we enjoyed our meal anyway.

We were on our way home (Lake Norman, NC.) from Memphis and decided to overnight in the Newport, Tn. area. Our GPS didn't get us to this out of the way place but we persevered and found it and we are glad we did! The ambiance is quiet and friendly. The service (Nichole) was exceptional (not a very busy night).... More

Really weird and excellent restaurant. You drive through a trailer park and then you have to ring the bell to get someone to let you in. Really odd. However, food was fantastic.

We recently had our Anniversary Dinner at The Fox and Hound. The food, service, and general atmosphere of the restaurant was top notch. We would have given a 6 star rating, if they had been available! We will definitely be returning customers!

We tried the Fox and the Hound today. We had a wonderful experience. Buddy was our server for the meal. He was very attentive and genuine. We had the Fox and Hound Burgers. They were grilled perfectly. We highly recommend the restaurant. We will certainly go back.

I was here for a work lunch and thought the food to be very good for a pub style restaurant. The staff is very friendly and the service is fast. Make no mistake, this is your typical pub so don't expect fine dining. With that being said, however, the food was actually very good for a pub and approaching some... More
